in patient weighloss clinics??

My mom is seriously overweight and we have already checked about the surgery, but she is being told that her medical condition does not allow her to have it right now.  We would like to enroll her in an in patient program, that can help her and monitor her, at least until she looses enough weight to have the surgery.  We have tried with her loosing weight at home, but she doesn't have the discipline and I can'****ch her 24/7 to make sure she doesn't sneak in any "goodies".  Does anyone know of an in patient program?  St Louis, Springfield or Ft Leonard Wood and anywhere in between those would be good.  Please help!

 I haven't heard of any around here. The only one I have heard of is the one on Big Medicine. Join the closest support group for now. It always helps to have local support and accountability.

I am a member of the Eating Disorder Coalition in Springfield and we had a speaker last month from McCallum Place in St Louis. They are in patient...you can look them up on the net. Sounds like a great place. If you google eating disorder clinics, many come up and while you may think eating disorder isn't what she has, she may qualify as a binge eater, or eating disorder - not otherwise specified.
