Saw Dr Punnuru plastic surgeon today

I really liked him, such a nice nice man, I went ahead and bit the bullet and told him I was interested in a breast reduction also, so here is how it went for those that are interested, I filled out paperwork and was in the waiting room maybe 5 min.  got in the exam room the nurse asked me about history what I need done and why , rashes, back shoulder pain etc etc. had to disrobe only panties on (gave me a robe ..duh...lol). Dr came in sat down and explained both procedures, risks ,benefits, explained how medicare won't preapprove so I will have to sign a waiver that I will pay if they don't (of course) he then took measurements of my breasts, had me lift them up (off the floor lol) so he could get measurements underneath.   Had me lie down, checked my belly, then into the photo room  .. told him I didn't even let my hubby see me like that, he said no one likes thier picture taken , I said well...some do lol  I was nervous he laughed and said he guesssed so!  anyhow no identifying face shots and I would hope no one would recognize me by the body shots with no clothes , BTW no sucking in, it looks better for the ins. if you let it ALL HANG out lol. It was not nearly as bad as I was anticipating, the dr made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. He said as soon as he got the info. from dr H regarding my RNY and the hernia he repaired, he would get the panni done pretty quick...yeah!!!! I forgot to ask how soon I could get the breast reduction after that... oh well. Anyhow it was a really good experience (weirdly) and if you have medicare it seems like he will be a viable alternative to dr hawes who is much further away (at least for me)    BARB, I'm sorry I missed you, when I came out after my appt. no one was in the waiting room, tho, once  when we were trying to figure out where we parked, we ended back up in the plastic surgery area and  I saw a cute  skinny little lady in the waiting room  that could of been you (around 9:30 ish, but I got to embarrassed to go ask if it was you.. but i think it was. (smile).I will update when I hear more.

 Glad things went well for you. How long is the wait from a visit till surgery? I will be self pay so they won't have to wait on anything.

It was only about a week when I scheduled. They do  it pretty quick.

I am so glad you liked him. He is soooooo nice and gentle. I don't know about the cute skinny lady but It may have been me, that was when I was there. I had brown slacks and poka dot brown shirt and a black  jacket on. Maybe that will help. I so wished you would have just said my name. I am so excited for you!!!!   Dr. Ponnrur released me today. He said he hoped I would come back for more.
