WHATS HAPPENING? WITH YOU THURSDAY

Wasnt yesterday beautiful ??? well i guess someone somewhere it was but just not here.
we did get the garden area tilled up again and of course the hens though we did it just for them. they have finally gotten brave enough that they follow Joe with the tiller. funny to watch. just like you taking some scraps or a piece of bread out there , they see you coming toward the chicken pen and they come running .or waddling really fast lol ...they are starting to lay well again. this winter it was one or two eggs a day but now it is� 5 or 6 a day cant ask for more out of 6 hens. the eggs are starting to back up on me.�

we did nothing else outside at all yesterday.just too too cold. I put on�my winter coat and�gloves and help�Joe rake the garden trying to get pieces of that grass runners up and out. hopefully the hens will eat a�lot of�it as it is starting to get green.�

Hopefully i will be able to get this post done on Friday morning but if not im sure one of you will�do�it for me OK? so again if�it isnt started by 10:00�A.M. feel free�to start it....
we are going out of town�this morning and dont know if we will be home by tomorrow morning or not. so wont be taking�computer i dont�think....I may but� George isnt going and he may need it. anyway....post away�here today ...if i take the computer i will answer you online so� =====stay on this side of the dirt lol that use to be�something�a friend of mine use to say all the time. , lol means more to me the older i get lol������dont know why i got up quite this early im getting very sleepy again so will lay down on the couch till time to really get up lol bye��hope we dont see this� rain cloud today.

Good Morning All...

Golly did I get the work done yesterday!  I worked from 4:15a to 11p... I was plumb numb. But I got the living, dining, office, den and kitchen a good cleaning... now I have the bedrooms and my bath today and a bit more in the garage... my new gator just feels lonely with all that room I have out there now...tee hee

I just realized yesterday that I will have company from tomorrow night till Wednesday of next week...Jo and her friend will be here for the weekend and then Paul's family is coming early on Monday.  I will have to have all my ducks in a row for that many days...~ha

Mimi ~ yesterday was the very 1st day that we got an egg from, ALL the "ladies"... 8 ladies, 8 eggs! Paul was thrilled... it doesn't take much to make us happy...~ha  Tess was in the garage again even with the fence I'm pretty sure we will have to clip her wings...boy I hate that but she is so so so friendly she will do anything to get where we are it seems.

Hope to get a bit of decorating done on the porch today for Spring. So I better get busy I actually slept 8 hours last night very unusual for me... but then I usually don't work that hard for that long.

It is very foggy and damp here this morning... it will be just nasty to run out there. Oh well...

The corned beef and cabbage was ok but I sure don't want it every day... tonight will be the Reuben Sandwiches... don't think it will be much of a hit either but we will see.

sounds like the ladies are all doing well.  lol you dont want to cut the feathers on both wings. just one ...that way they are lopsided and cant fly...you cant see it  ...we have all of our wings clipped on one side ...dont want them getting out and neighbors dogs getting them...

sounds like you have been a busy beaver around your place Bec. wow the sun is comming out wow and is burning off the fog. it was really thick here this morning.

we are getting ready to leave but wanted to tell you that about the chickens wings , just to cut one. makes them not be able to really get off the ground.

i know i wont be able to answer the rest of you today since i am leaving the computer here for George. he has some stuff he has to do.

Good morning to all.sure is looking like a good day for a nap outside.lol.we are soo ready for some sunshine and spring.andy said it is supposed to clear up later on and reach 70 degress.wi**** would stay that way.

jan you and joe have a safe trip.sure is foggy outside this morning.thank's for the info about the flower's in springfield.they sure would look pretty on our pourch.i am off work friday and sat next week so we will try and go to get some of them.

we have a tem guy as a boss at the moment.he is from one of their other places.he is nice but he know's how to get thing's done.they said he will be there for a few week's and the head guy who run's the home is talking to some possible perment replament's.see ya at work next week.

bec you sure have been a busy beaver.sound's like your hen's are doing great.andy and can hardly wait to see you next month.my doctor's app will be here before i know it.
