Bec i see where you answered back again on yesterdays post wow that post got lots of play didnt it? lol
Im so glad you finally got that mess in the garage cleaned up lol. I have seen it when you said it was a mes and i never saw anything but an average garage lol you are so critical of yourself.
Oh wow a boyfriend, you know it might be serious if she is bringing him home to meet you all...wow
i dont think as serious as they are that it would be just a friend.....oh boy just think of all the fun you may be in for....lol
You think you arent a good cook oh pooh you know that is really putting yourself down ...it is ok to say ,,,,im a good cook cause you are one of the best ...you can praise yourself once in a while. it wont make you bad. you tickle me and i love you to death...
Hey maybe you need to get some sort of cabinets and shelves and such up in the attic or do you have already. I have never been up there.

Jan I am alot like you... it is weird. I love the snow and winter but after days after days of gloomy gray weather I find that I NEED the sun...
I told Mike that if we had the money that I would have my place here in Missouri and then probably buy another place ..... of all places ....ARIZONA. We got to thinking about it...and I told him that I did NOT want to do the Florida "thing"... or Calif... and got to thinking about AZ.. I have been there before (not as extensive as N.M.) but what I saw I liked... wonder where the best place would be???
I love my plants and I love landscaping but I just loathe day after day of gloom...and gray....
Didn't hear back last night from Betty... again I will not call her as I don't want to disturb her so I have no NEW news to report....
Still grumbling over what happened at the VA yesterday... it is so frustrating... so so ... it the whole grand scheme of things I know that we are still blessed though. I have a son in the other room instead of a folded flag on the mantel and that is priceless... just wish that they would recognize what he and others have done for their country....
Well everyone, have a grand day.. I hear laundry calling me!
Anything WORTH having is WORTH working for !
summers are hot yes but the temps there arent much more there than here and with NO NO HUMIDITY it feels less...cause you can get in the shade and it feels cooler than what it says it is and at night because of no humidity the temps drop down to blanket weather. that is what we are saying too. we are thinking of buying some land and put a small mobile home on it. and when the winter here starts we will go there for at least 5 months. then come back here and play in the garden and flowers. lol my daughter lives there and she grows beautiful flowers and gardens so just because it is the desert doesnt mean you cant grow. she uses pots and raised beds with good dirt in them...just have to do it differently lol which is fun learning that
i understand what you are talking about with your son. it is hard to watch someone you love tho have problems and no one wants to help....
I will pray that something happens that will help him ....God Bless him and tell him how much we really appreciate him....

No corned beef here. It's okay but we don't like it enough to buy a roast. We do like Reuben sandwiches but now I can't eat 2 pieces of bread at once. I did like the Reuben wrap. Kraut doesn't agree with me now so I have to just put a little bit on the wrap. Tonight I'm fixing hamburgers in French Onion Soup. You cook the burgers, take them out of the skillet and heat the onion soup then put the burgers back in the soup. It was suggested to serve them on a bun and top with cheese but I'll forego the bun.
Jan, we will take you up on your offer to stay in your guest house. I need to talk to the vet to see what I can do for Sophie to keep her settled in the car. She doesn't like riding in the car at all and pants and pants. Sammy loves the car. When is the support group meeting in May?
I put some closet organizers on Craig's List with a picture. Got a weird inquiry. She wanted more info and directed me to another website where her questions were. I deleted the message because no telling what I would see if I went to that website and it could be a virus. You do get some weird responses from your ads but I just delete them as spam. That way they don't have my email address.

Your hamburgers sound really good. I have put the dry onion soup mix into hamburger patties before too and makes a great tasting hamburger.
what i do with reuben sandwiches is make them with the rye bread then i cut them all in half...i just eat a half of one which is only one slice of bread. I cant eat the flat bread for wraps it is like eating cardboard to my stomach and just lays there forever. I could fell it there for a whole day. and hurts. so i dont eat them anymore. i can eat a crunchy taco but not a soft one. crazy i know.
yeah when i advertise the house we have that is rental property for sale i get some dozzies.
some weirdo out there for sure.
will be happy to see you in May

JAN COOK
It's been a lazy day. Started off with all intentions of doing some early spring cleaning inside and just played around on the computer, then took my nap and a shower and now I'm back on the PC.
I think it's the weather, just like everyone else I am so tired of the dreary, cloudy days. I want some sunshine.
Jan~It's great that George knows what he wants, sounds like he is making wise decisions and planning for his future. And yes you do sound like a proud Grandma. It's really great when they give you an AH HAH moment.
We are doing corn beef tomorrow, my youngest sons wife doesn't cook it (or so he says), they have a church thing tonight so we posponed St. Patty's day. I love corned beef, would really like to brine a brisket myself. Might do that some day.
Pixielf~I agree with you, it's terrible the way our government treats the men and women that are out there defending our freedom. I hope that you get things straightened out for him.
We have family in Arizona and they love it. I think tuscon is beautiful. Used to like the Phoenix area but there is so much going on.
Jo~I look forward to meeting you in May, I'm hoping I will be post-op by then.
Lana~I spent a few years in Vegas when I was a child and the first time we went through there on our truck I was blown away, didn't recognize the Military base we lived on, it is way to wild for me to live there.
Well gonna check my FB out and go do the dishes. My house is yelling at me, need to do floors and just don't feel like it. I'm BAD.
