WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

I do too Debbie....I use to sing them with my mama and daddy they played the music and i sang when i was about 15 and 16 loved it.

Bec so is Jo's friend a boy friend? they are such beautiful girls it is a wonder that they havent gotten married long ago....

well im not so mixed up today. dont know what was wrong with me yesterday. was sure depressed and down. the weather i guess. couldnt get my head on straight. I didnt have to go to work and i wanted outside to dig in the dirt. but was way too cold. i went out to take a walk and did one block and came back i was so cold.

glad you got some of your stuff cleaned up so Paul wont divorce you lol yeah i can see that happening.lol he likes to eat too much. and no one else can cook like you can. ...
glad that it is making you feel better tho....

 ~tee hee... Mimi you are right!  I have marrital security... Paul DOES like to eat too well!!! I'm not all that good of a cook but his tummy DOES rule!

I have some artificial flowers to pack away in boxes and then both my car and gator will pull right in the garage... we worked another whole day on the garage and now my part is looking pretty spiffy!  Yea!!!   Even the "upper room is better than it's been in a long time... I still have lots of work I could do up there but that would be the equivalent to Jo's "womancave" for me so Paul does not fuss too much about it. 

I'm quite sure I do not know how it got that bad in the garage... it's only happened over and over...~ha but never THAT bad before.  It's just that when you do "stuff" it takes "stuff" to do it.  ~ha  Boy do I now have all my new cabinets full to the brim and even on the top too.  Do I need more cabinets? ~ha

Well as for dear "Tammy"... I'm safe for the time being. I could just hear that old song in my head and that "wang" in her voice made me think of Loretta I do not know my old songs very well.  And then could never sing one all the way thru...I only remember the catch phrases...~ha Now if I hear them on the radio I can sing more of them than I thought but need to have the song playing... brings  back memories of being in the garage when my dad was doing body work on old cars, tractors...etc.

Well today it is on to house work... I have two days before Jo comes home... yes Mimi she is bringing a fella... not sure how serious it is but will enjoy getting to know any of her friends. Thank you for the kind words about my babies... I'm kind of partial to them...~ha  They were too busy in college with keeping their grades at the level they did and working 2 jobs that they just didn't have time for much of a social life.  Will see what happens now... although both plan to go on with their educations.

The manager of Penney's called me yesterday and wanted me to come back to work...but Paul does not want me to right now... maybe in the fall if they have a position open up... he had some nice things to say to me and that made me feel good.  If I'm going to work I really should find something that pays more, the gas eats up the profits at this particular job.

Well better get started on the day going to get out there and exercise early so I can focus on the house cleaning. Need to stop by the neighbor lady's and have a cup of coffee too... with all my work it's been nearly a week since I've stopped in she will be calling to see what's wrong with me.   

Going to make corned beef and cabbage today with carrots.  Have never made it before and probably never will again... also going to make Reuben Sandwiches tomorrow too... don't think I like either one of them but can say I made it once at least.  I found what I think will be good recipes on Taste of Home.  We will see? I even bought Rye Bread for the sandwiches and I'm pretty sure I don't like that?  Will be interesting to see if my family fusses about two days of corned beef?  Hey we might just lose a lb! ~tee hee

Hope you have a good day.. it is suppose to rain here today and be yucky this weekemd too... even calling for a bit of snow last I heard... will have to get out there and cover some things... boy will I be glad to be warm again.

Another gloomy day.  The sun was out a little bit late yesterday afternoon.  Snow is in the forecast for Saturday.  This DST is the pits.  Just couldn't go to sleep last night and I didn't want to take an amitriptyline.  Makes me too drowsy the next day.  Getting up was such a struggle.

When I get to work I make a cup of French vanilla coffee.  I added my creamer and what I thought was mocha flavored Splenda.  The taste was just awful.  I had added a package of Crystal Lite peach tea.  I keep the individual packets in my drawer.  I'll be looking at the package more carefully from now on.

Jan, I know what you mean about eating too much or the wrong things and then beating ourselves up for it.  Nothing to do but forget it and move on.  Of course, some times, my eating sins come back up. 

Your flowers sound so pretty.  I have no interest in planting flowers but I like to pick them out for Max to plant.

I did a mapquest to your place and it's about 4 hours away.  I may take you up on your guesthouse offer.  What do you charge per night.  We could come down on a Friday and I could attend your support group then we could do our Branson activities Saturday and Sunday.  May might be a good time to do that.

I did something really dumb.  A friend of mine that struggles with weight has regained 30 lbs. that she lost on WWs.  She insisted I join WWs with her and I gave in.  Paid $39.95 for a month of meetings.  It turns out she has another commitment on Saturday mornings so we can't go at the same time.  I lost a pound but it's crazy for me to spend that much money each month when I know how to eat.  I joined WWsin 1973 and never got to goal.  It makes me obsess about food.  So, this morning I cancelled my membership and will get a refund for what I already paid for the month starting March 19th.  It's not the plan for me.  I need to stick with high protein, low carb.  I simply can't eat the way WWs teaches you to eat. 

One thing I wanted after surgery was to eat healthy but not focus on food.  I like to track my food a few days a week, but not 7 days a week.  It makes me crazy.

Jo silly thing if you come down to visit me it is a guest house not a Guest house lol no charge would love to have you visit.
yeah w.w. menu isnt too good for us or isnt for me.

anytime you want to come down you just let me know so i can go dust the dust off of things in the guest house lol ok? May is a nice time down here for sure.

Everyone read my post about the virus. I'm so very bummed but there's nothing I can do about it. I did not send it to anyone but it hijacked my friends on Facebook and sent to all of them.

Lana as long as they dont open it it is ok...i just deleted it....i have gotten that from about 20 people that i know. that is why i dont open any of those join this or that things. that one is really sneaky...

I'm so sorry to hear about the virus you got, I had one attack me a couple of years ago and before I knew what happened I had over 25 viruses, had to wipe my computer out and start from scratch. It's not fun. You also are not alone there are so many viruses out there that attach to even the most innocent programs.
