WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY
Good morning all. ....i worked last night and they put me on the step down unit from the hospital. they for the most part are pretty self sufficent but they sure do like their pain pills. lol
only 9 patients but my gosh..i bet i ran and ran to take care of them....and they had the aide for that hall running too.
The girl that was in charge of the other hall in the back , my lord she went outside to smoke so many times it was pitiful. i counted 10 times and each time she was gone about 10 minutes. now that isnt long for one time or two times but all together about an hour plus her supper break ...then she got behind in doing her work and was freting about how behind she was. I did some little things for her but if she would stay inside and do her work she wouldnt have been behind. I never seem tho have time to go outside even if i wanted to. too cold and you sure cant go outside where the smokers are they will choke you to death. even outside.
today i am going to see if it is dry enough in the garden area for Joe to till all of the horse poop under again and then to make rows for me with the tiller.
need to do up the laundry again today, change sheets on the bed, and defrost something for supper.
am going to pot up some flowers that have gotten too big for the little pots they are in too today.
and if it doesnt rain will get outside and get all the junk out of a couple more flower beds...
The nurse that gave her notice , recanted it last night , so i wont have to pick up any extra days now ...was sort of looking forward to that really to having a big paycheck but i know i would get tired of it pretty quick too, especially when the weather is beautiful and i had to go to work lol
Im excited for you guys in the KC area and in the area up I-44 for hopefully getting support groups together. that is so neat. you guys in the KC area i dont know why you all havent gotten together before it is so much fun to meet up every month ...and dont limit it to just you all be sure and include your support people too. they can contribute a lot to things. I know a lot of them wont come but some will and they can do a lot to help each other too. Joe goes with me to everyone of them. He has to get up and walk around sometimes because of his back but he is still there for the most part . ytou dont have to have a leader if you dont want to but it does help to keep everyone on track too. our group for the most part is just us talking to each other , taking turns to tell what we want to tell but sometimes we will have special speakers and such.
well going to get this on line and will talk to you all later ::::::POST AWAY.

Susy get in touch with Jo that always post on the whats happening post , or any of the other girls in the KC area.....You are doing the best thing for sure for you all to get to gether with a support group. It helps to talk to others that are going thru what you are too. You have the tool to help you with losing weight but you have to make yourself de carb and get back on track. no magic bullets ....but you can do it ....hope you all get the support group off the ground and up and running. with some working and some not maybe the easiey day would be Saturday during the day , that way no one would have to be gone during the night. just a suggestion. hope you all get it going.
good to have you back on her Susy....

I live in Raytown which is really across the street from Kansas City. I work 8-5 Monday thru Friday so meetings would have to be in the evening or on Saturday. I've had a couple responses. Where is Blue Mound, KS? I'm going to put a notice on the RNY board too.
I'll keep you posted.

Jan, you crack me up with your gardening. My dad loved gardening and if he were still alive, he would have his potatoes ready to plant on the 17th. When I was a kid I had to pick green beans and peas and hated it. The bugs, the heat and worst of all getting dirty......ewwww. I'm so much better in the kitchen or the craft room. Keeping the house organized and clean is my area too.
Last night I fixed the best pork chops. My favorite pork chops are dipped in egg/milk then rolled in Rice Crispies then fried. No Rice Crispies so I used Chex and just a little bit of oil. I ate a whole pork chop, about 4 oz. of meat. No room for veggies but I sure enjoyed that chop. I made a Berry Crisp that is delicious and low in carbs that I will post.
Thanks for the invite to your place for the support group. I'm sure I would enjoy it but I would have to take off work and leave my furry kids in a kennel. We do want to come to Branson this spring so maybe I can plan a weekend down there and take in your meeting. My girl dog hates riding in the car so I would have to give her a sedative but Sammy loves the car.
I made $125 selling on Craig's last week. I took the pressure cooker off and decided to use it myself.

if you ever come down down worry you can bring your fur babies too. no problem. I have one great big fur baby but he loves little dogs. sometimes when they are yappers he will just stand there and look at me like Mom do something. lol but he wouldnt hurt them for nothing.
the pork chop sounded really good. Im fixing ribletts for supper tonight in the crock pot. going to throw some bbq sauce in there with them and let them cook lol will make baked potatoes to go with it. and some green veggie ...
wow wasnt bad work on craigs list profits ....i never can sell anything on there cause we live so far out.
