Betty Update

 Betty came through surgery ok but is trying to remember the color of the truck that hit her.  

I didn't get a chance to stay on the phone with her too long as she was pretty uncomfortable and was in alot of pain (her words).

She did tell me that the surgeon repaired two fistulas as well as correcting the connection of the intestine which "was done wrong"...   plus they redid the the staples...

Betty had surgery several years ago and is was later found that she had an almost complete staple line disruption that basically rendered her surgery non functional and she didn't find this out til she went in for additional testing.

She will be in the hospital til the beginning of next week....  and the surgery was done open...

I am sure that she will appreciate warm thoughts and wishes sent her way...

i know what you mean about so many views and no responses. Tell Betty that i was thinking of her today and that i hope she is up and out soon. maybe she can achieve her goals now.

So good to hear Betty came through OK, she is in my prayers for a quick recovery. It's really disturbing that problems like that can go undetected long enough to cause such pain, God Bless her.

 Wow thats a lot to go thru. Let her know we are all pulling for her.
