WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY
Well we finally got some rain last night, started about 7pm and rained most of the night i think...i havent been out to look at the rain guage yet but from here it looks about like an inch.
Yesterday we took Georges little car to town and got it inspected and got his paper from the courthouse saying he doesnt own any back taxes , checked on insurance for him got 3 different quotes.
got home and cooked ribs on the grill and i cut up some veggies and wrapped them in foil and put them on the grill too. was a good easy supper for me to fix. lol...and no mess in the house. i told Joe i think we will cook like this every night from now on. so get that grill going man.. no grease to deal with either. and i was able to eat a whole one....i buy the country style ones that have no bones in them...i cant see buying the bones in and paying twice as much.
SUSAN:::: yes high 70s or low 80s would be perfect weather to have all the time....would love that. lol im sure you do know who i was refering to...i know she has come and tried to tell you all how to do your job too hasnt she?
On the insurance thingy im going to pretend that i didnt see that notice...now dont rat me out ok lol I have to be there tomorrow at 2 i think it is for a nurses meeting. before getting my check.
Tami:::: really looking forward to the meeting ....what ever you do i know we all will enjoy it.
JO::::: the quilt sounds beautiful...wish you would have taken a picture of it before you sent it off.
is it made up of old t shirts that have meaning to the person?? i would love to have one done for Joe my hubby. he has some old t shirts that he loves and wont throw them away even tho they are past wearing , he just hangs onto them. lol so they sit in a box in the back of the closet.
I know you are glad that your classes are about over.
Yes i love the Amazing race....that stunt they had them to drink that huge bunch of beer in the boot , the poor coyboys one said he had never drank before they looked sort of tipsy when they left.,
DEBBIE:::: i think that is what i always do when i start an exercise thing i do too much at first and i get so sore that the next few days i can barely move and then i lose my motivation to go any more. or maybe in lazy .....
Glad to see you on here posting now tho...
JEANIE RAE::::: glad you got to Dr. E meeting. i dont think you can get too to many of them especially when you are new to the whole thing. there is always info that you didnt even think about before.
we are going to try and go fishing up at the dam out of Forsyth maybe Thursday if it isnt raining and see what is happening there. will let you know on Friday.
well going to get this posted i would imagine someone is wondering whathas happened to the whats happening post lol

GOD BLESS YOU TODAY
JAN COOK
Raining here today off and on. The dogs always know when it's raining and refuse to go out, won't even go to the door. My Sophie won't ever go in the house, but little Sammy will so you have to watch him carefully.
Yes, Jan, this T-shirt quilt is made with shirts from this girl's college days. She must have been in every activity they had.
My kitchen is getting a makeover. The guy took off all the doors and took them to his workshop to sand and spray paint. I'm so glad he's not sanding at my house. Today he is putting in a sink and disposal. No telling how old the disposal is that is in there. It has stopped up a couple times so I don't use it much. The sink is a cheap stainless steel and I've liked them. I prefer white. We got a white sink that looks like porcelain but it's an imitation. I didn't want to invest in an expensive sink since we will sell in a year or two.
I'm thinking again about going to a 4 day work week with Mondays off. Then in a year either cut back to 3 days a week or retire. My biggest concern other than income is health insurance. Medicare pays my husband's co-pays at the doctor's office. I carry insurance thru my employer on him so between that and Medicare, we never pay for tests that he has but without my Aetna insurance I'm sure we would have to pay a portion of his medical claims. He takes a bunch of meds so he definitely needs drug coverage. I take thyroid med which is only $10 for 3 months and I rarely go to the doctor, but you never know when you might have health issues.
I need to look into the cost of supplemental insurance so I can plan for retirement. Hate to think I have to work forever.
We are going to start looking to see what's available that is maintenance free. I'd have to move across country to get rid of the costume thing. We will look at Lee's Summit and Blue Springs.

Good evening OH,
Already posted my good news, just want to say hi and hope everyone has a good day tomorrow. Being approved for surgery really makes it easier to stay on track with the food.
Gonna go to bed early we have to go to Springfield tomorrow and try to get as many runs as we can handle, probably will be a week or two after surgery that I won't be able to work, at least I think I should probably take a couple of weeks off. Called my daughter, gave her the good news, she is already planning on coming down and staying for a few days,
Will talk to ya all tomorrow.
