So sorry susie....have you checked their website to see if their rules has changed? Did they tell you why, if not, call and ask..It could be an oversight or error. Doesn't hurt to check it out.

the rules have changed some recently. They have tightened up the purse strings on everything I think. I do not know what I will do now. I was kinda counting on it to pay for it. I am looking at a doctor in Mexico. It is just so expensive and I need so much done. I may not look like I have that much extra skin but its there, just hidden. I need several things done at once. I sent documentation of meds and visits for rashes and thought I had enough to qualify. Now you have to do it in conjunction with another surgery. I already got my hernia fixed so what can I fix now? I think I will start going to the doctor everyday until they change their minds.
Suzie,
When I lived in California I went to San Diego and then a limo picked us up at the airport and took us across the border to a clinic where we got Dermagen injections and my friend got injections for her spider veins. I was never frightened but I did have her with me. We'd leave for the airport in Oakland about 8am and be back to my house about 6pm. Of course the flight from San Diego to Oakland was only 1 hr 15 min.
I do know that some of those border towns have gotten really scary due to drug dealing so it might be safer to go to a further inland location - nearer Mexico City or somewhere like that. Their plastic surgeons are usually US schooled and the people are so caring and loving. Give it a look see. There are lots of folks on the Plastic Surgery board who've been there.
