Reading in Mark about the signs of the end of times, if you sit and think about it, the time is getting closer that the Lord will return.  Some of the things it mentions already take place now.  It says nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, well as we can see that’s already happening with all the wars going on over in different countries.  It also says children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death that too is happening, as we see in the news sometimes there’s always something like that going on, what about that 8 year old I think it was, that killed his dad and dad’s friend?  Just another sign of the end of times. There’s little stuff like that going on all the time right around us and we don’t realize that it’s all mentioned in the bible about the end of times.  More and more things happen each day and we don’t even realize it’s all about of the plan God has.  Sometimes I wish He’d hurry up lol

Today’s Reading

Numbers 6:1-7:89
Mark 12:38-13:13

Daily Devotional

"A generous man will prosper; he *****freshes others will himself be refreshed"
(Proverbs 11:25, NIV)

Do you need refreshing today? So many people go around overwhelmed, tired, worn down, barely getting by. But that's not God's best. He wants us to prosper. He wants us to be refreshed. Here's the key: be generous and refresh others. Is there someone at the office you can be a blessing to? Can you lighten someone's load? Maybe a family member is going through a hard time. Can you help them out? Can you cook them a meal? Refreshing someone can be as simple as a smile or an encouraging word. Don't wait until you feel like doing it, that day may never come! Do it because the Scripture tells us to. Do it because it blesses the Lord.

Today, look for someone to be a blessing to. As you step out and refresh others, as you live a life of generosity, you will be refreshed and experience His blessing in your own life in return.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy in my life. Thank You for blessing me so that I can be a blessing to others. Teach me to be generous. Show me how I can refresh others and bring glory to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
