Has anyone been to Missouri Bariatric Services......?????

Hello,I posted this on the main board and I was told I should post it in here but, I am starting this whole process and I was wandering if anyone has had their surgery from columbia missouri, at the missouri bariatric services....ive done my research and they seem to have a very good program, before and after, and since im in columbia its that much better.......

Cristal i myself didnt have surgery there but i know lots and lots of people on this board that have had their surgery there at Columbia....from what i know it is a great place. and does some great work.
I would say go ahead and start your process there...and welcome to the Mo. board. hope you will be back many times .

Hello i had my surgery at columbia,mo.they are very good there.you will like the doctor's and nurses they are very kind.i live in forsyth and it was worth the drive there.welcome to the board,any more question's just ask.i have their phone number if you need it.susan.

     I am just starting the process as well. I am from Columbia but now live down in Joplin and would like to have my surgery there at the University. I know several people that have had it done there and have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and everything you could think to question about. I contacted Mo. bariatric services yesterday and they gave me a link that has an online siminar and a few questions to answer. I was told after I watch the video and and answer the questions that they would call me to set up my first appointment with them. i had it done in columbia. the staff is good expecially surgical icu. the surgical team from mo. bariatric center are friendly and do there job well. don't try to get one over on the nutritionist at the office. she is real smart and doesn't mess around. lol! good luck, hope you have a smooth surgery and recovery.
