Daily Bible Reading - Sunday - February 28th
Reading in Mark we are getting closer to the crucifixion, Jesus in His own way is preparing His disciples but it really seems they just don’t understand what all is going on and what is going to be happening soon. Verse 50 really stood out to me today "Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other." That’s just like us at times, we lose our saltiness and have to renew ourselves. That right there is what reading the bible has done to me, it’s adding salt back into my life. It asks “how can you make it salty again?" Have salt in ourselves, in other words feed on the Word of God and we will become salty again, wow that right there is a testimony to me. I just thank God for the opportunity to gain my salt back, isn’t God so Good?? There we go again in Proverbs, talking about wisdom. He who holds his tongue is wise, boy do I need to live by that more often haha. The tongue can sure get you in trouble, can’t it?

Daily Devotional
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Acts 2:1-2
The word 'suddenly' means quick, at once, hastily. One second things are one way, the next second it's another way. Saul says that the word 'suddenly' means unexpectedly and unawares. There are other words also the Scripture describes that mean the same thing, like immediately, at once, instantly, straight way. Suddenly, there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire that sat upon each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit give them utterance. They couldn't pray for these days because they didn't have the equipment to pray in the Holy Ghost. But, suddenly, God gave them supernatural abilities. Suddenly, they were able to pray the perfect will of God. Suddenly, they were able to pray in the code that Satan does not understand, that he cannot crack, and suddenly, because God's perfect will was manifest through their prayers, God moved unto the earth and began His work immediately, instantaneously, suddenly.
One second it looks like you have no money, the next second you're blessed and with cash. One second your body is sick, but praise God, instantaneously it's healed. Suddenly is the way in which God moves when He gets His people together.
Second Chronicles 29:36 says, "And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly."
Suddenly is God's way. You'll see break through because of prayer. Break through because of intercession. Break through because you've been praying for other people. Break through because you've been sowing seed. Break through because you've been faithful. Break through even though others are against you, you kept your mouth shut and prayed for them anyway. And God said, "I'm going to change things suddenly."
Isaiah 48:3 God says, "I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass." Any Word you can find in the Scripture; any promise you can find in the Scripture, it's out of God's mouth and it can be instantly manifested in your life.
Prayer for Today
Father,
Thank you for being a suddenly God. You change the course of things according to Your masterful plan. In Jesus' name, Amen!
