Need recipe
Does anyone have a good recipe (something different) to take to a potluck at work? I kind of wanted to fix something in the crockpot? I work at an elementry school and this is for teachers and staff. They think I am a good cook and enjoy my cooking. I take them things all the time so I wanted something really good but yet different and I can't come up with anything. Any suggestions?
I love chicken cooked in the Crock Pot with a cup of salsa or Picante sauce. You can also add black beans or corn. It's great alone or served on flour tortillas or flat wraps.
I use 4 boneless chicken breasts, 1 cup Picante and a can of black beans drained.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings

1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 T. soy sauce
1 t. chicken bouillon granules
16 chicken wings
6 T. cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water
In small saucepan, combine the first 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until Splenda is dissolved. Place chicken wings in slow cooker; add vinegar mixture. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until chicken juices run clear.
Transfer wings to a serving dish and keep warm. Pour cooking juices into small pan. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir in juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Spoon over chicken.
