WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY THE 26TH FEB....
As you can see I didn’t get the computer to Andy yet….my grandson had to have it to type up some papers for college. So I didn’t get it to him yet but I hope to soon. I am really anxious to try the window 7 instead of Vista. Ive had a few problems with vista but not like a lot of people I have heard from. They say it takes less space and does a lot more . I don’t understand that at all but there is a lot about computers I don’t understand --still.
Any one watching American Idol? What do you think of the singers this year and who is your choice. Of the guys I like Big Mike and Aaron Kelly and of the girls im not really sure which one yet….I like the blonde curley hair girl not sure of her name tho. And they are all staying till next week at least so will see.
I still havent much of a voice , still squeaky. I have never had this last this long. And yes I do have allergies…and my biggest one is Cedar pollen and it is already out there. So I know that is what this is…and almost everyone else that has their so called colds right now , it isn’t colds it is allergies. Even if it is cold we had those really warm days and Cedar pollen starts about this time every year. And it is one of the worst allergens there is. I try not to talk but it is really hard to do.
A friend of ours is clearing off some land behind their house to so they can have a bigger back yard and they are digging up lots of big flat rocks and he called Joe yesterday and ask him if he was wanting more rocks….so Joe went and got them , wow really good rocks to make a nice big waterfall with. So that will be our big project this year. I have been wanting to do this for a long time so now that I have the rocks to do it with I will start that as soon as I can get outside and work and as soon as I get this stupid allergies under control …once I have it calmed down I will keep it under control with Sudafed like I always do.
I just didn’t get it started early enough this year. I usually get it and get started on it by the middle of Feb so I don’t get this crud.
SUSAN::::Your so right about hard to talk to the residents that are hard of hearing. They would ask me something about their meds and I would get right next to their ear and try to make them hear me and they would just ask what?? So it was a miserable night. Just giving the meds was bad enough but then all of the speech thing made it all the worse.
Have you heard anything more on your dad? I hope he gets to come back to Forsyth too . Will make it easier on you to see him but if not the other home isn’t that far away from you .it is just so much easier for you there.
Yeah the time change will be here in a little over 2 weeks …yeah…I wish they would leave it at Daylight savings time. I like it being daylight latter in the day …

It has been cold down here too maybe not as cold as up there but cold enough for sure.
I know I hate passing meds mainly cause even with my glasses on I don’t always see the names and the names of the meds right. Makes me mad but don’t understand why we have to get old lol
I guess it is like they say ,,,,anyday you wake up on the right side of the dirt it is a good day…lol

Had done my thing and then had answered about 6 or 7 people on here and poof and away it went lol
So what did your doctor do with your meds was yesterday the day you went???
Yeah I really do think this is allergies too Jeanie. Just have never had it last this long. This is the 3 day of not being able to speak normal.
Yes the one med Metforman (sp) is very hard on the body in lots of ways. It does do what it is tailored to do but it also causes lots of other problems or can….it is a case of does the benefits outweight the problems it can cause.
Yeah it was sunny today but it was cold to me ….got up to 44 here but still seemed cold. Must be this crap that I have …anyway usually when I have this im sick too but im not sick this time or maybe it is because I keep so medicated that I don’t know if im sick or not lol
Well anyway im going to get this posted as it about midnight….or will be in a few minutes. I don’t think I would know what to do lately to go to bed before 1 am tho. I sleep better going to be late like that…if I go to bed at 10 I wake up about midnight and them im awake till about 2 or 3 sometimes later. So if I wait and go to bed later I sleep fine. Glad I finally found that out …lol and I know it was really of interest to you all lol …talk to you tomorrow with new tails of my exciting life. ….love you all .

Good morning.sure was sunny yesterday but cool.the weather said last night yhat we could reach 50 degress by sunday and in the high 40's all next week.that would be nice but supposed to be in the 20's at night.jan it would be nice if the time change would remain the same.i like a little more day light too.
i will hear more about my dad this afternoon.they are having another meeting and doing some more blood work on him and they will see when he can come back.the nurse there call the don at forsyth nursing and told her she was very pleased with how he is doing.
andy said to tell you jan before you come to work tommorow bring your computer by our house he will work on it then and by the time i get home from work he will have it done and bring back up to the nursing home to you before you leave at 10.00pm.
jeanie rae i hope the doctor can cut your meds down for you.i know you will feel soo much better.that sure is a strange feeling when your sugar drop's like that.

Good Afternoon OH,
Went to my PCP today for annual physical. Everything is good. The AC was 6.5, which is really good. She doesn't want to lower my metformin for now and says that studies have shown it rarely causes severe problems, but if it does the signs will be there. She did ask what I had for breakfast on the days of the blood sugar dropping and when I told her she said I need to make sure and have enough protein with cereal and oatmeal. That just a little bit of yogurt or milk isn't enough, so have to make sure and have at least an egg or small piece of meat, or cheese.
The really good news is I'm down another 5.5 lbs. so yay I'm doing something right. The bad news is I have shrunk about 3/4 of an inch. use to be 5' 5", now I'm only 5' 4 1/4". Of course DH admitted he had shrunk about an inch or so, guess that's part of getting old. LOL gotta get this weight off b4 I shrink away to nothing.
Jan~I think cedar is getting me too. My eyes have been itching and red and burn a little, thought at first it might be the drops I take in the morning, but since you metioned the cedar, I have had the same problem before. Gonna try using my allergy drops and see if they help.
Susan~Great to hear your Dad is going back to the nursing home. I would be excited also. Give him a big HUG and tell him your friends a praying for him.
Gonna post this and go start supper, don't really feel like cooking but went to the store and got a whole chicken, am craving a good broiled chicken with the skin on, been doing boneless skinless and it's getting sooooo boooooring.
