WHAT'S HAPPENING FRIDAY - 2/19

It's Friday!!  Raining today, may turn to freezing rain......will it ever end.

Jan, we want to hear about your GD's.  Bet you're being showered with love.

We're going to the Home Show tomorrow.  They have several vendors we're interested in.  One thing we want to see is a demo by a guy from HGTV talking about painting and giving tips on how to do the best job.  Since I want to paint every room in my house, I need to see him.  We're wanting to put an awning over our front door for a little protection when you coming in and out.  To have someone build one is very expensive.  Max also wants a shed.  The one we have is rusted and needs to be replaced.

No work on costumes last night.  My SD was to call me Tuesday night and let me know if I should go ahead with the Velcro on the pants but I've not heard from her.  I'm not tracking her down to find out.  It's enough I'm spending hours on these costumes. 

Bec, I got the Air Climber from QVC.  If you're not familiar with QVC (I'm way too familiar...LOL), go to QVC.com.  You have to have a Q number to order but that's easy to get.  I like that it doesn't take up much room and is light weight.


Let hope the weather forecast is wrong and we won't have ice and snow.

Jo thank you so much for doing the post for me...i havent even had my computer on since the babies got here...am going to put a couple pictures on my profile of me and the babies and some of the grandkids with their babies lol seems like it was only yesterday that my grandkids were babies and now they have them. amazing how fast time flies.
yesterday and wed were both beautiful here as the day started off pretty here today too but it started clouding up around noon hasnt rained yet but looks like it will start. we did get the garden tilled and it is thawed down more than 6 inches already. the ground was dry enough that it tilled up really well. we let the chickens into it and they are having a ball...scratching and digging out worms lol
will have to till it a couple more times but so far good and i will get some pea seeds tomorrow and get them in the ground. may buy some seed potatoes too.
tomorrow is the birthday party of Mikaela the 3 year old in the pictures. it is a lady bug party lol that is what she says...and you ask her what she wants for her birhtday and she says lady bugs. so i have found a blouse and a dress with lady bugs on them also found a stuffed lady bug...so i hope all of these are good for her lol . she is such a mess.
the baby in the pictures is Lily Rose she is precious and such a happy happy baby. always smilling.

Well it's the Friday I've been waiting for, and so far my behavior health class is not cancelled. Can't wait.

We've been going to Springfield hoping for some good runs. They just haven't come. If we get one long run a week we're lucky. I can really say we are blessed though because there are so many people that don't have jobs at all.

Jan~It's sounds like you are having the time of your life. Lady Bugs are great for little girls. They also bring good luck. Glad you are getting to work outside. It's still way to muddy here to try to do anything. May have to put off the Garden this year and just put some tomatoe in some tubs or something. My DH isn't up to tilling and the boys all have a full cup. Next year I plan on being well enough to do it myself.

Jo~I agree with you, you SD should have called and let you know for sure what needs to be done. It's great that you love your GDs enough to do the repairs.

I need to post this, I have phones tonight and it's time for supper. Been keeping a close eye on my glucose readings. Have really been getting down mostly in the AM after taking my meds. So have to keep healthy snacks with us so if it occurs I can beat it.

I just wanted to get on here and say hello and see how everyone was doing.
when andy and i were on our way back from springfield it sure looked liked it was going to rain.it was a nice warm breeze.sure wi**** would not give anymore bad weather.
spring is just a month away.

we got to see my dad for a little while.they are moving him to another part of the hospital now.they want to put him on some med's to see if will help calm him down.he get's too upset latley just over the littlest thing's.
they said his mind problem's have gotten worse and they want to see how bad it is now.

he know's andy and i when he see's us but when we are anybody else talk's to him he does not understand what we are saying.he just look's puzzled and smile's.

if he get's any worse they are going to have to send him to the other nursing home that belong's to the one where i work now.it is near branson.
