WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY FEB 10TH
Joe tried to come after me at work Monday night but the roads were so ice and snow covered down where we live that he said he slid around a couple of time …he had pulled over to the side and called me and told me that so I told him to turn around and go back home..that I would call Andy and Susan and see if Andy could come get me so I could stay all night with them, which I did. It was pretty clear in town but they only got to M highway and then on down to our house this morning he said they were coming in to our place as he was going out and that it was still pretty covered but at least it was daylight and he could see where he was going. But by the time we got back to them they had put the salt on them and the sun was shining so a it was pretty clear when we got back to them….I guess I could have gotten on Andys computer and did the post this morning but I counted on one of you all to do it and you did….Thanks
JO ::::again thanks…lol Joe calls home exercise machines clothes racks . Lol I told him I thought if I look at them long enough that they will take the weight off. Lol but I guess he is right they do make good clothes racks
The snow we got stuck to the trees and power lines but not a lot on the ground…untill yesterday evening and the temp dropped like crazy.so that is what happened to the roads out here.
JEANIE RAE::::: anxious to see you on Friday…I hope the snow and stuff don’t keep everyone away. Our new leader will be there…you will love her she is a really nice person.
I don’t blame you about not staying out too long yesterday that wind was awful.
Is your husband coming back with you Friday night??? I hope so I feel like we all didn’t get to know him to well yet
That little carb book is really neat isn’t it? I wi**** told us of the sugar count of things but it doesn’t….does the fat and protein and calories tho..
I really love Atkins bars I feel like they wont steer me wrong….they have one that taste just like a mounds bar and like peanut butter cups…they have very very little protein in them but they have no sugar or carbs either …I don’t buy them much but when I feel like I just have to have a candy bar…..that is what I buy….good stuff and I cant tell the difference at all.
SUSIE:::::: do you think you might get to come down Friday night???? Hope so but understand if not…
Im like you too I wonder where in the world that the global warming is ….lol not too warm around here is it ::
ANDY AND SUSAN:::::thanks a bunch for letting me crash at your place last night. I really really appreciate it. A lot. I hope you all will get to the meeting to….tell Susan as soon as the test is over don’t go running around to go straight home and go to sleep for a few hours so you all can come up PLEASEEvery one misses the two of you and all of them are wanting to see how little Susan has gotten.

The air climber I'm getting doesn't have any rails so no clothes hanging It isn't very big. When I had a treadmill it was great to hang clothes on. Just hope I like this thing and use it.
Another very cold day and more snow forecasted for Friday. I have little motivation to anything at home and I think it's the weather. I do have to get busy on those blasted costumes. Oh how I detest them. She's bringing another one over tonight that needs to be fixed by Saturday. I've also got a quilt top I need to put together for someone.
I emailed the dietician since I can't get a morning appointment to see the surgeon and his staff to ask about calories and carbs. I'm a little shocked at her response and just don't think it will work. She says at least 1200 calories with 20% protein, 30% fat and 50% carbs. Yes, 50% carbs or 600 calories a day. If I have 2 protein drinks I will have my protein for the day. Even if the carbs are complex and I do stay from simple carbs, 600 calories a day sounds like way too many.
I know she has studied nutrition and now specializes in WLS patients, but doesn't seem right to me......not that I wouldn't like eating 600 calories a day in carbs.
Last night I ate some cauliflower and never again. It was painful. Finally, I made it come up but I belched for hours. Broccoli, cabbaga and cauliflower just don't go down for me. There are hardly any vegetables I like now.
Lou, so good to hear from you. You are working way too hard. I'm on automated ordering from Amazon. I hope I can switch my order to get one of each flavor next month.

Howdy All...
Not much to report here... I'm finally getting my cabinets under way after having to go back for another color stain....think I have it this time... I have gotten my new dining room pantry doors stained and I think it is going to look pretty good. Still have to put 2 or 3 coats of polyurethane on them yet... the fumes of the stain is so strong in the house at this time of year when all is closed up... now if I can just get the cabinets in the laundry room stained tomorrow I will think I have done something....
I'm trying to keep my mind off the fact that it is so stink'n cold and ucky out... I have been exercising in the house and I just don't do as well as when I get outside... not near as good a frame of mind I guess.
Went down this past weekend to see my daughter and found a metal quilt rack that I have been wanting. Lots of nice scrolly work on it and then yesterday I seen an ad on T.V. for one I liked better... will go check it out here in a day or two... hope they are not out of them.
Last year my mom gave me a quilt that a great aunt had on her bed for many years that my great grandmother made... it has some "dry rot" on a couple of the flowers but for the most part it is in wonderful shape and colors that go well in my house... it is all hand pieced and quilted... for those of you that know patterns it is the "flower garden" design. Two of the materials must have been lighter weight and did not hold up as well so they kind of disenigrated or fell apart... the neighbor lady is going to help me replace those two parts of the flowers... so will go down this evening and see what I need to do... she has quilted for years... so know I will learn something.
Paul has put the mats in and hitch on my new gator and I got two bright green stainless steel water bottles (on clearance) to go in the cup holders... so good weather come on!!! I have places to cruise! ~tee hee
I have been setting my timer all day long to get in the right amount of water... not seeming to have so much trouble with it today. Problem is when I do that all I seem to get done is making trips to the "pretty girls room"...~ha
Mimi ~ how nice you got to spend some time with Andy and Susan... I'm envious of you both. When do you plan to have the "boot camp"? Or have you gotten any interest for that? I have just got to get into this lavender dress by the 1st weekend in June for my nephews wedding... I'm cutting the cake... how ironic is that? It was a dress that my sil gave me when I went down to visit that time... and it's perfect for a wedding and the right color too... will have to come up with some purple pumps to go with it. It's kind of a filmy cotton material with an overlay jacket... a bit of a Victorian look to it.... the jacket is a size 14 the dress is a size 12 don't know how that happened because it is the same dress. So that means I will have to really get busy... I can get them both on but they sure are NOT flattering in there present fit. Actually would not even let anyone see me in them at this point... I remember when I couldn't even dream of getting in a size 20.
I just can't believe how hard it has been to get past the point I'm at right now... but I'm determined! Discouraged but determined! I have been telling my self over and over and over that "food" does not satisfy... maybe if I drill it into my head enough I will believe it! ~ha Wish I could of been one of those that did not still struggle with this issue... but for what ever reason I was not blessed in that way so I will deal with the situation I have been given.
Jo ~ I will be interested to see how you like the new exercise video's and equipment you have gotten. I'm hoping they will be just what will help you be successful! Paul brought my Gazelle in today so I will have some more options... I was using it in the garage till it got so cold and then I did not want to go out there so I quit...
Wow Susan... you do not look like you need to lose that much more weight... I'll be glad to just get to the top of my goal weight... sure not there yet... these lbs are clinging to me like cement! It's maddening for sure! I hope your tests goes well and you find out what is wrong or better yet that nothing is wrong.
Well better get in there and get Paul's supper warmed up I'm giving him leftover chili pie. I have a great big turkey in the freezer that I need to cook up and debone to use for casseroles... ugh I hate to take the meat off a turkey. But need the room in the freezer too.
Blessings to all,
Bec
Good evening OH,
Had a good day, we had to pick up a computer part in Harrison AR, and deliver it in Mountain Grove. Started out OK, got directions on Mapquest, got to Harrison and I'll be darned if I didn't get us lost, not once but twice. I knew something was fishy about the road we were on. All the street signs indicated we were on the right streets, but I think one of the signs must have gotten turned. OH well we found the business we needed and got it delivered on time and back home safe and sound. The road conditions in Arkansas amazed me. Even the back roads were pretty much cleaned off.
Jan~so glad you could stay with Andy and Susan, and that Joe went back home and stayed safe. Our roads were pretty cleared off yesterday, but I wouldn't have left the house on Monday night. Like everyone else I'm tired of the cold, but also grateful we didn't get what the east coast got. They'll be diggin out for a while.
Lou~bless your heart, I don't know what it's like to worry because I'm losing too much in the backfield, but I feel for you. Sounds like you have your plate as full as it can be. It's amazing how much we can do if we have to. YOU GO GIRL.
Susie~how are you doing? Did you get your DS moved into the camper? Hope you are doing good.
Need to post this and get my food log done. Hope everyone has a good day and look forward to seeing you on Friday night.
