WHATS HAPPENING SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY~~ I would be excited about it if I was going to get to be home and could watch it….I cant believe I miss the first Nascar race yesterday….I turned it on last night but went to sleep before it was over so don’t know who won. Would have been good if Mark had won since he had the first pole position ever for him….that is what I think they said . Seems funny that he has raced all these years and never won pole before.
So who are you all for in the super bowl? doesn’t really matter I guess….I will have to watch it in bits and pieces.
Boy I was just wondering what in the world would the night crew do if it wasn’t snowing when the evening crew went home and the night crew came in , which is the smallest crew there is . Only two nurses and 4 aids. No housekeeping and no kitchen help…and it was so bad that no one can get in….serious thoughts on what if…you know if we happened to get a snow like N.Y got. That would be disaster. ….
Well enough rambling as you can tell I don’t have much to talk about. Now if im not on here by 10am in the morning would someone do the post for me? Ok….

Yeah it is weird that your husbands doctor didn’t give him a diet. When you have those illnesses you have to stay on a pretty strict diet. All the time. Was you in there when the doctor said he had those things wrong. didn’t mean anything bad about that just asking ….cause I cant see any doctor not giving him a diet to follow because diet is what causes the pain most of the time…maybe he did and he didn’t listen to that part ….lol Joe is like that , that is why most of the time I go with him for doctor appointments. He either doesn’t listen to all of it or forgets it or something . Lol.
Get those snow boots out cause I think you are going to need them again.
SUSAN::::::: wow I bet that was crazy when the power went out. I know they have a generator but that is usually only emergency lighting only . We have to run around getting out emergency O2 tanks for people on concentrators ..crazy times when elect goes off. The patients get all antsy and crazy…..I don’t like being at work when things like that happens. It is a hard enough job as it is without that happening.
Thanks for the invite about staying at your house. If the weather gets too bad for Joe to come get me more than likely I will have to stay at the nursing home because nurses wont show up to work. But thanks for the invitation.
Susan I really wish you would not want to lose anymore weight. Not because im jealous lol(I am) but you are looking too thin in your face. Just because you have skin hanging on the stomach and such isn’t fat. It wont go away by losing more weight. Will only hang more. Love you and want you to be healthy, maybe the passing out was a warning sign? Take care of you ….you are very important to lots of people.
JEANIE RAE:::::: add me to the list of people that are tired of cold and gloom ….wouldn’t be so bad if we had sunshine at least, the way it is we might as well live where they have night time for half the year. Awfull awfull weather. Wonder where the green house effect is? It sure isn’t here this winter is it?
doesn’t it angry you to make all these plans and then the weather affects it all. I remember when a kid and we would plan a picnic and it would rain. How disappointed I would get but at least you got over it. Now it seems to add to the depression feelings. I know we will live thru it but darn how much of this crap can we take?

I hope the weather changes before Valentines day….my son is getting married that day ….and granddaughter who lives in Indiana is driving down next Saturday on the 13th. So hopefully the weather will get a little better by then.

I care nothing about football so I will catch up on shows I have recorded. Snow and more snow is forecast. Supposed to start today and into tomorrow.
This morning I made Cinnamon Rolls from Hungry Girl's recipe, very good. I'm going to make her Banana Bread recipe today. It is low fat and sugar free. Dinner will be baked chicken. I squirt olive oil over the chicken and sprinkle various spices over it and bake for an hour. Delicious!!
Re Max's diagnosis, the doctor told me what he found. There have been no complaints since the procedure was done. Absolutely nothing has changed. Before the procedure he said the pain was a 9. I really had to hold my tongue when he told the nurse that, but his pain level is always way up there. If you had pain at a level of 9 you couldn't talk or at least not in complete sentences. That would be really severe pain.
Jeanie Rae, I do think it's a man thing. They don't handle pain well at all. They say if men had to give birth, there would be a lot fewer births. I swear my husband loves being in the hospital.
My SD brought Emily over yesterday to try on her dance costumes for me so I can alter them. Emily is on the dance team. I detest doing them. It's not the kind of sewing I like doing. This and that needs to be tacked down, snaps sewed on and hemming. I'm the only one in the family that sews so I get the job. What really irritates me is they are never available to help us in any way. If we need something done, we hire someone. Last year they did take us to their favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner. You know what a cheap date a WLS person is. My dinner was $3.95. Oh well, I've vented enough.
My Stephan Ministry class is supposed to meet at 3:00 so I'm hoping the snow will hurry up and get here so they will cancel. These classes are just grueling. There are 6 classes left.
We went to Home Depot yesterday and I got a microwave table on clearance that was already put together. It had a scratch so I asked them to take more off the price and they did. I bought a storage cabinet for the kitchen. I got the paint for kitchen walls. Creme' Brulee is the color of the paint. Sounds delicious!! The cabinets will be painted Mochaniccino. I have the stainless sink but I don't like them at all. Got a great price on a white sink on clearance.
It's about time for my Click frappe. It is my most favorite drink in the world!!

Sittin here waiting for the snow to start, hoping it passes us by.
Don't really have anything to talk about today, at least nothing I think is interesting. Did e-file my sons taxes. He is grateful, and admits he owes me and promises to take me out to dinner or something for doing them but, like Jo I get forgotten. I think that's maybe part of having a family, I stopped expecting them to be there until it's life or death. Then they all come running.
Jan~I sure hope you don't have to stay at work tonight, but I'm sure if you do someone can at least get the post started.
Well Some of my DSs just showed up so gonna post this and go see how they are. Have a good Day everyone, will talk to ya all tomorrow.
