Been eatting ok...yea I know, I know..but really had a good day yesterday with eatting.....went back to work at 7p and it hit me like a rock....the world started to do that tilt a whirl, and things started to go very dim....then the trembling started and thats when I realized the my blood sugar was bottoming out.....it was about 1 1/2 hours after I ate too....took sugar levels and yep in the gutter....53!!
Man I hate it when that happens....it ruins my whole day and the next one too...today Im doing good to eat anything with out running to the bathroom.....it really sucks if ya all dont mind me saying that!!!
But on the good side of things...Im back up to, are ya ready for it....109!!!!!! I think everyone else is more excited about it than I am...I still struggle with those numbers and never in a million years would I have thought I would say I need to gain....
Anyway...I know that I havent been on for a while but my life is not the same anymore with this job....I do good to get a few min to read everyones posts....I may not post but do say prayers for all of you and try to keep up with everyones days and happenings....well gotta go...there someone knocking on my door.....I need a "do not disturb" sigh...badly....
Love and hugs..

Hey Corrine;

Glad to see you post. I have to watch my sugar too. Just something that goes along with it. Make sure you keep lifesavers with you and pop a couple of them when you feel it coming on and it will give you time to get something to eat.

I think your body will solve it's own problem with your low weight. You have to remember your body is confused. It will settle in at a weight it feels good at.

Hang in there and visit more often.

Something else that is good to bring your blood sugars up quickly is jelly. My doctor says it absorbs into the bloodstream quicker than anything. I carry a couple of those single serving packets you get a McDonalds or wherever in a tiny ziplock in my purse, just in case. My DH and I have often laughed as difficult as they are to open I probably will be out cold on the floor before I ever get the darn thing open.
