I have to share, this is good and you would never know it has cottage cheese in it instead of mayo and sour cream!  Not to mention cottage cheese has lots of protein!

I have 2 versions but if you think about it any dip recipe you have sub. the mayo or sour cream with the blended cottage cheese!

Ranch Dip:

3/4 tsp. Hidden Valley Ranch Original Dry Mix Seasoning
1 c. low-fat cottage cheese
2 tsp. parsley
2 tsp. dry onions or chives

Blend cottage cheese in blender until smooth. Add dry ingredients and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Blend until mixed well. Chill for at least 1 hour before using. 15 calories per tablespoon.

Just a note that the lemon juice seems to make it a little tangy which I didn't like that but you may so try it both ways and see which one you like, so instead I use just a little milk.

Dill Dip:

2 C. cottage cheese
1 Tbs. Dill Weed
1 Tbs. Bon Apettite
Diced onion

In a blender or Magic Bullet blend cottage cheese then add onion and dry ingriedents and a little milk to moist it enough to blend not too much though.  Chill

If doing a party this is good, get a pumpernikle bread bowl like cut off top an clean out center put dip in center hole and place picese of the bread around bowl.

This is also great veggie dip!

Bev,
So good to see you on the board. Thanks for the good recipes. I will make it for Superbowl and use celery and carrots and cucumber.
Hugs,
