WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY 1-21

Good morning everyone…..well I got thru 3 days of work, im off till Tuesday if I don’t get a phone call anyway. One of the Lpns that works nights full time is quitting to move back West somewhere so don’t know when her last night will be . Don’t know if she is going to stay her full 2 weeks notice or not. Anyway if I wanted full time I could probably get it. Really not sure if I do or not.

Let me tell you something tho. The first night I worked I wore just my regular good tennis shoes, and my back and legs were killing me. Then on the second night I wore my thera shoes….and as soon as I get a good paycheck im going to go and buy me two or three pair of them from K mart before they decide to not sell them anymore. My goodness my back and legs and body didn’t hurt anything like they always have at the end of a shift. If I had had these years ago I probably would still be working full time. …you all can not imagine the difference in how they make me feel…they make me hold my body in a different way or something. Anyway I think I could do a full time nursing with these shoes on but don’t know if I want to do a full time job…maybe 4 days a week but would want it to be at least on two off two lol . What I need to do is find someone else that wants to work that way too . And then we can apply for the full time position. A friend of mine and I did that once and it worked great. The two of us made up our schedule all the time and it worked great.

Yesterday was beautiful , Joe took me to work on the trike . Was a pleasant ride into Forsyth. Our grandson that is living with us took the truck to school and then went to Springfield to do the exam that boys have to do to get into the service. He like to freeked them out …he made a 97 ….they told him that was so extremely great that when he was ready to go into the service that he could pick anything he wanted to be. Even a pilot…he is so excited about it. …He is going to get his 24 credits in and will be able to go in a couple of grades above normal too. This one recruiter told him that he has had college grads that didn’t make anywhere near that score…..amazing my genius grandson. Cute and smart too. Lol

SUSIE:::::: was your mother working to pay for your bills when she was the age your oldest son is? Is that fair? You know it isn’t. sometimes tough love does hurt but you arent doing him any service to not let him grow up. At the age he is you need to tell him sink or swim. No more handouts no more free anything. And mean it …and stick with it. It hurts I know I had to do that with my youngest. I told her NO MORE…do you want to be working till you are 80 ? Love you girl and I know you love him but it is time.

You deserve to have this time now for you. I will keep you in my prayers that you will get the strength to be able to do what needs to be done………How are you feeling since your plastic surgery …has the swelling gone down yet? Hope to see you Monday at the meeting.

JO::::: im calling the elect company today to talk to them about this bill …we purposely didn’t run the heater much this past month because last months bill was over 300.00 I want someone to come out and check to see what is going on. Maybe it is our heat pump …or something. But I cant pay this kind of bill.

Yes I watch Biggest Loser. I love that show. I think the big guy isn’t much bigger than the brown team and he does all the work ….I just don’t think the guy in white has found his motivation yet for some reason. Lol on Jillian…sometimes I wish I had her at me for awhile and maybe I might get my butt in gear and exercise too. She is going to be having a new show where she moves in with a family I guess for a week and helps them change stuff….don’t know if I would want her in my house or not do you?

JEANIE RAE::::: The New Beginnings group at St. Johns is the second Monday of the month….at 5:30 class room 4B at 12298 E. Seminole . I have thought about going once in a while to their meetings to get some new motivation for myself too.

I told Joe and grandson….nothing on in a room unless you are in there this next month. And heat not to be above 65, put on jacket and gloves and what ever else you need to stay warm while in the house but we cant afford this anymore. Im not going to work all month to give the money to the elect company. Something has to give. Oh Joe took our infrared heater apart and cleaned it and it works again Yeah it was just dirty and wouldn’t work.

We are really looking into going solar somehow or the other …or something. We would like to have wood heat but don’t want the stove in the house with the mess and all. Looking into the outside wood furnace and can use the duct work we have now. Will find something that will work . Have to. Cant keep on like this .

An infrared propane heater ??? Never heard of that . May check into it. I still think gas is cheaper than elect …we use gas to heat the trailer on 100 gal bottles. And when we have had someone in there a bottle will work for over a month even in the hardest cold and that is a trailer that is a lot colder and harder to heat than our house is. I really think there is something wrong with our big heat pump tho.

OH that crochet needle I need is a size N??? am going to go get that today or tomorrow.

SUSAN:::: OH shoot I was hoping you could wear that. Bring it to the meeting Monday and I will see if Sugar can wear it…I bet she can and it will look great on her don’t you think?

I work next Tuesday and Wednesday. Unless I get a phone call to come in some other day.

BEC:::::: hey yeah Joe got our infrared heater working just fine …he took the back off and said it was just dusty and dirty. He cleaned it up and it works. Yippee. The sun is coming out im going to get my clothes and shoes on and go for a walk this morning. Then have to clean house and go to town for some things.
