Hello fellow losers!
After a three year absence, I've made it back to the site! It has changed. So much in fact, I couldn't find my old profile. I am five years post-op and am currently 125 lbs. below my start weight, dispite a 60-pound rebound. I'm committed to getting that 60 pounds back off and am here to get the motivation I need to do that.
The majority of the weight was "re-gained" during a year long battle with cancer three years ago. Long story short, you eat whatever you can keep down during chemo and sometimes you know its not what you're suppose to do. Needless to say, the end result was the return of some (not all!) bad habits. So, I'm heading back to the basics I learned in the first two years of my journey.
I look forward to reading your posts and relying upon them and the info on the site to get me focused, keep me focused and get me to the results I want.

Welcome back!! This is a great place to be for encouragement and good advice. So sorry you had to battle cancer and can surely understand why the weight gain.
You will feel so much better getting back to healthy eating.
I'm 18 months our, have lost 70 lbs., but want to lose another 20 or 30. Can't imagine myself weighing in the 130s. Probably weight 130 for about 5 minutes when I was in high school....LOL
