Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
1 cup water
1 cup skim milk or soy milk\
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/4 t. pumpkin pie spice
2 T. Splenda
1/4 t. vanilla extract
dried cranberries, optional
chopped walnuts, optional
In small saucepan, combine water, milk, oats, pumpkin and pie spice. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in Splenda and vanilla. Sprinkle with cranberries and nuts if desired.
2 serving (I got 4 servings for me)
Next time I will add protein powder. I'm going to make it in the slow cooker and put in individual dishes.
