We are good here in Higginsville.  I am so glad that I don't have to go outside of my house for work.  Richard has been a big help to me today.   I am doing better about getting my protein in everyday.  I have noticed that yes my taste buds have changed.

I have a question for you ladies, How often do you weigh youself?  I am doing everything in my power not to get on the scale everyday but that is hard.  I am going to go and read a book to the daycare kids check back in later.  Have a great day.

Sandy

I am thankful for have a job, that i can stay in my house.

yes i weighed every single day lol didnt bother me if i didnt lose anything or even if i gained a little. if you are going to weigh daily you have to realize that your weight will flucuwate a lot. i measured every two weeks and took more stock in the measurements than i did the weight. I now weight maybe once a month maybe 6 times a month lol depends on if i feel like i am gaining weight. so what ever works for you..... and yes you are lucky to be able to work from home.....

I'm thankful for my health.  Without good health you have nothing.  In a world where everything is focused on beauty, looks, money and material things with out your health none of that matters.  In 2010 my resolution is to enjoy every minute of every day.  This shouldn't be too hard since that has been my goal all along.  Alot of people have a habit of looking on the down side of things.  Think positive and positive things will be attracted to you.  I think about Angie everyday and how she loved life so much despite everything she went threw.  Happy 2010 everyone! ;) Lou

you are so right LOU without good health nothing else matters too much.  people will sometimes call you a polyanna when you always look on the good side of things but so what. as the saying goes smile and the world smiles with you but cry and you cry alone...pretty much is the way life is. Happy New Year to you too.

Hope you all had a safe and Happy Christmas!

Made it home Sunday finally after the 5 hour drive turned in to almost 7 hours home.   Got into the city limits at south end of town and was pulling out of the junction going down a big curving hill and went out of control - the car went everyway and I was so scared - needless to say!  I ended up facing the wrong way in a snow bank on the side of the road.  Another 6 inches and I would have been down a steep incline and ditch and probably overturned.  My guardian angel was working that day for sure!  I was able to pull out and head on home.    This all happened less than 2 miles from my home...

I had a wonderful time in Springfield and between my daughter-in-law and me - we fixed a simple xmas dinner and had a very good day.  The kids do not have sleds so we improvised with the top of a storage container and a big cardboard box.  I wish I had taken videos.  Got to see my older sis and all her family on saturday as they came up from Little Rock and nephew came from KC to meet at neice's home.  I went to work yesterday and was downsized at 10 am - I was so tired!  I am overstaffed on call today so this will use up my vacation time.

I am thankfull that I am still have a job with benefits.  It's only 5 degrees outside now so I am staying toasting warm in the house.

Take care Everyone!
