WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY 4 DAYS LEFT

4 days left till the new year…wow where did they year go? Really it has flown by …..or has to me.

Well todays thing that im most thankful for is : Joe and I both had big surgeries this year and we both came thu them without much of any problems…that is a lot to be thankful for since there is always things that can go wrong.

I think we all will remember Angie and her tragic ending. God Bless you Angie ,and Walter I hope you are doing well now.

It was so cold yesterday I thought I would absolutely die with that wind cutting thru me…we had to go to town and get some milk and a couple of little things . The sun was shining but it was so so cold. I just can not stand it….I really would like to move to Az I think….even the summer heat sounds good to me . Especially right now.

Lou please bring Karens phone number with you to the meeting tomorrow night , will you please. She never has called me back or anything and I would like to meet her and see what she says.

Maybe would be better to wait till spring will see what she has to say….

We are taking the youngest grandson Patrick to the bus station today so he can go back to Texas. I think we expect too much out of him…we just don’t want him at 19 years old to only be sitting playing video games and keep pushing him to get his GED and get enrolled for college or go find some sort of job. He doesn’t want to do those things I don’t think so he has decided to go back to Texas…I told him he was always welcome here but he needed to grow up some….and that I love him a lot.

Well going to get this posted. Remember something else you are thankful for this past year. :::::

Hello Jan and everyone!

My poor hubby as you know works for MoDot, so he has worked 12 hour days for the last 4 days. I sure hated to see him go off to work again today but,  8 hours  will seem short.

I am grateful for my dear hubby! For nearly 43 years he has been my rock and soft place. First of all we are friends, I can honestly say if we weren't married I would respect him as a person. He has a gift of humor that is awesome. He makes me laugh everyday. He has a work ethic that we don't see much of now days. His honesty is impectable. I could go on and on but won't. He is a wonderful man and is lucky to have me.

Hugs

Good morning all!!  It's back to work for me but only 3 days this week.

I'm thankful for my little dogs and all the joy they bring me.

Most of the Christmas goodies (or badies for me) are gone.  There's quite a few Peanut Clusters left but DH is taking care of them.  My pouch does not like them.  They taste good going down but not so good after they get there.  No more sugar for me.

I found some mini Pita bread that is really good.  A serving is 5 but I only eat 1 or 2.  They're 28 calories each.  Today I'm having Chicken Salad on Pita.

I am not to happy with my plastic surgeon right now. I had a small wound separation on Friday night. I have been trying to protect it till this morning when the office is open. I guess trying to be nice to them was the wrong thing. I can't see them until tomorrow.  I do not know if I am up to driving down for the meeting tonight and have to do it again in the morning. I wonder what if it was a major problem? Would they say go pay someone else cause we are busy. I was about to try and schedule another surgery too. I may have to think about this. I suppose I will survive till tomorrow but it doesn't make me happy. I knew it was not right in that area to begin with but was told it would smooth out. Do you think I am grouchy today?

I guess I need  to stop and think more about what I am thankful for. I hope you are all having a better day than I am.

Anyone from Ft Wood area going down for the meeting tonight?
Susie

I'm certian if Dr. Hawes or his nurse thought it was serious he would have gotten you in or maybe he wasn't in the office today.  Dr. Hawes is a great surgeon and very nice as well.  It takes weeks to get final results.  I'm sorry your having the trouble but at least it can be fixed.    Lou

HI OH,

Susie, so sorry you are having problems with your surgery, I hope you get the problem fixed without anymore problems.

Went to the Phsyc follow-up today and Dr. Essman is recomending me as a good candidate for my RNY. I guess the Nurse Co-ordinator is off til after the first so will be after that when they call for my first consult with Dr. Edwards. So this is what I'm grateful for today. That a positive has occurred for the Surgery.

Gonna go post so I can take a nap and be at the meeting talk to you all tonight.

Jeanie so happy for you in getting your Phsyc eval approval...no doubt in my mind that you were sane (wink-wink) lol ....hopefully you will be our first surgery  baby in the new year....just remember no matter what someone tells you about they eat anything they want too.....no you cant. well you can if you want to gain all your weight back...main things to remember is take all your vits(and there are some that you take that doctors seem to not know a bout lol ) drink at least 64 oz of water a day and do at least 30 minutes of walking for the first month and then keep increasing it as you lose more...if you have the money to join a water aerobics group you will do great....
