MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Just wanted to pop in to tell everyone I was thinking of all of you. Just got hubby off to work. Requirement with MoDot. He is out there making the roads safe for travelers. He will put in 12 hours today as he did yesterday also. We had our Christmas celebration on Wednesday night in anticipation of this snow storm. We have about 5 or 6 inches here. We are about 35 miles south of Kc and 10 miles west of Harrisonville. I will have son and grandkids here today for dinner. They only live down the road a short way. He insist to not let Mom be alone today. Gotta love him.

I hope you all are safe and happy and all your wishes come true.  Debbie, hope you are felling better.

Hugs

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I could not go back to sleep and kinda miss not having little ones here to wake us up earlier this morning.  It is nice that Marissa and Richard are still sleeping this morning.  I am having my in-laws, son, and his room-mate Ashley over this morning at 8:30 to open presents and then we have breakfast after that.  Then they can go to other places that they need to.  Now today may be a different story.

Jan - Yes Colette came by on Wednesday and saw me.  She was bring present for me and my family.  WE LOVED them!  Marissa is my daughter , Ethan is my son, and his room-mate Ashley.  She helps me when my high school helper can not.

Well it is after 6:30 this wonderful morning and I need to start getting my protein in.  I wish everyone a safe and Happy Holidays.

Just a few flakes here so far. I guess its waiting on the sun so I can watch. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your family and remember why we are celebrating. Stay inside unless you are sledding or building a snowman. Don't eat to much turkey and trimmings but enjoy every bite. May all your Christmas wishes come true.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas OH.

We have had a nice day, went down to Matt's in Ava for dinner this afternoon, and exchanged gifts for the kids, I had planned on taking the kids some fudges and the breads I made. Unfortuneately I was reminded the hard way why I never made fudge and other candies from scratch. Started with peanut butter fudge sounded like a good easy recipe, guess I cooked it too long and even though it tasted good to the guys, It was kind of flaky like pie crust. So tried a cream cheese fudge sounded easy, if I had made a cake I could use it for frosting, when I checked the recipe I realized I had only put in half of the amount of powdered sugar, the end of the story is I won't make candy any more. Don't really need to make candy anyway, when all was said and done, could have bought some of the old fashioned Christmas Candy and they would have been just as happy and it wouldn't have cost as much.

I HOPE every body had a good day, we did get a little snow here but more like a dusting. I would have been happier if it hadn't rained cause they had started my roof and didn't get all the metal on before they had to quit and we have to replace some of our ceilings where they leaked really bad. My youngest son and a couple of his friends are gonna try to get it done tomorrow.

I didn't mean to go on so much, just wanted to wish all of my Friends a very Merry Christmas, and see you on Monday at COF meeting.
