WHATS HAPPENING CHRISTMAS EVE 2009

Christmas eve ,no snow here how about where you are? We had rain last night don’t know how much but I woke up a couple of times to it raining really heavy…will check later on the rain gauge…today Joes niece and her two kids will be down for Christmas with us…I made a big deer roast with potatoes and carrots and have made a dish of dressing, cranberry sauce, and a couple of other special dishes…no sense in doing lots of different things because she and her kids neither one eat much more than meat and potatoes…they will eat green veggies raw with dips so I have a nice big bunch of things on a tray like that for them to eat on get those greens into to them someway. Lol

Im watching a special on HGTV about amazing log homes . Now most of the time I can follow the 10 commandments and not want other peoples things but this is just too much …..oh wow . If you get a chance to see this you should. It is amazing. So beautiful , and where most of them are is what is as beautiful as the house or at least makes the house even more beautiful.

Well I need to get busy so will respond to some of you about things ok?

First off please remember Debbie D as she in the hospital in Sedalia today….hopefully when they do the stress test on her heart it will be strong enough for her to have the gall bladder surgery. Bless her heart (really) .

SUSIE ::: I hope you get your white Christmas…and that would be great for my Texas boys that are here. Im sure they would love it as long as it doesn’t stay too long lol. The youngest grandson , Patrick is moving back to Texas on Monday…he is just too homesick. So hopefully he will go home and grow some. I hate for him to go back because where their home is has become a really bad horrible neighborhood. It is surrounded by bad businesses that use to not be there. So in a large city like Houston you know what is there. But their grandparents wont sell and they could because it is now commercial property and could make a lot and I mean a lot of money from it. Because they have 3 lots , im sure that after they are gone the kids will sell it fast …anyway sorry to get off on such a tangent.

Glad you are feeling better with your legs. That would be nice to not see all those wrinkles when you stand up lol. I know that I would probably go down at least one size with all the excess skin was gone from my legs and hips and belly but I guess it will just have to be wrinkled unless we win the lottery lol.

SUSAN AND ANDY:::: hope you have a great Christmas with your brother and his family…wish they would both get this surgery , they really need it too. Would be nice if they would be around for your nephew and maybe grandkids too.

JO;;;; hope you have a wonderful time today at the nieces. We both are doing Christmas Eve with nieces huh?

Oh no dumping can be totally different for each person….some do the diarrhea and vomiting but others just get sweaty , weak , heart palpatations and cant talk right, that is me, so it is different for each…what Sugar does for me is raises my blood sugar extremely high and then drops it like crazy and that is when I get all of those symptoms. I can do a bite or two with no problems but if I do too much that is when it goes crazy…mainly if I havent had enough protein to counter balance it. …protein is the answer when I get like that too. Joe knows to get me some high protein …like a protein drink , he will make me a small protein drink quick and it almost immediately will make me start to feel better. Something I carry with us in the truck is a couple of cans of some sort of high protein meat. like Vienna sausages , tuna, or chicken…just open it up and eat it . It works.

SANDY::::are Marissa and Ashley your girls? Did Colette come by to meet you? She is a great Angel she was and is my angel too.

Have you heard from Connie? I hope she is doing well and will get online when she gets home.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE don’t know if I will be on here for the next two day will just depend if I have a free minute or two …if not want you all to know that the love I feel for all of you is real , even tho I only know most of you thru this column …some call me Mama Jan, some call me Mimi , some call me Jan but what ever you call me , just know that all of you are near and dear to my heart. If I scold some of you it is done in a spirit of love and concern. Every one is special and loved.
