WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY 12-23

They sure are batting around that S word…I wouldn’t mind having a white Christmas especially if it doesn’t get on the roads. And cause my families to not be able to come down….sure will have lots of food for my three men to eat up lol…Altho one of my men, Patrick, the younger grandson is wanting to go back home to Houston. I think he is homesick and he doesn’t have a urge or need to get out and get his life going on the right track,..he still thinks he is a kid and doesn’t want much else than what kids want over and put him on his way home. He says he will be back maybe in the spring lol

Finally got all of my baking done…now on Thursday our niece will be here (Christmas Eve_) with her babies..so we will have Christmas with them and then the day afterChristmas we will have another Christmas with the rest of the kids.

Im glad that I have finally gotten thru with baking but I really enjoyed it this year ….not because I want to eat it but because I could do it without hurting from standing so long….I just need a bigger counter space to work in. don’t have near enough…we are thinking about making a rolling island with sides that raise up to make a nice size surface to work on. Need to get some of the other stuff out of the kitchen tho first but don’t have anywhere for it to go lol .

SANDY:::sounds like you are doing really well so far. That is good that you are doing so well and get to advance on your next step of the way….Thanks for letting us know about Connie….

BEC::::: lol only you would say that you have such sweet people to work with and such sweet customers. While all the while others are complaining about their job and the customers and they other workers lol me

You always seem to see the very best …

don’t know that I will ever jog don’t kno w how well that will go with my knees. But I don’t know the few jogging steps I have done it doesn’t seem to hurt.

Well I think you have us all just as excited about your flat bed trailer present as you are…lol ….be sure and let us know soon ok? We will all be on pins and needles waiting to hear

Maybe he got you a new bike ….so where is the flat bed trailer at , now???

I know what you mean about some of the girls that use to post all the time….like Barbara, and Peggy and Janet….I know that Barbara is getting things ready for her extended tummy tuck soon but I cant get Peggy or Janet to answer me at all. Im really worried about both of them….

JO:::::: some people just get sick when they eat somethinng they arent suppose to and that is a form of dumping….I hurt and it is like there is a big knot in my stomach and then get hot and cold and hot and cold , want to thow up but cant. Then I want to sleep….other people throw up until they have the dry heaves…..others have bad bowel troubles. And one girl I know just gets really sleepy and has to go lay down and that is all. So dumping is different for everyone. Some do it so hard and others don’t but don’t doubt for a minute that sugar or too many carbs do affect us all in some way or the other. Im glad that they don’t make you really sick but I bet they would if you ate too many of them but you have good control and don’t go to far for you….good girl. Lol

I have planned on after the holidays going on a liquid protein diet to get back on track too.

ANDY::::: hey thanks for the fake powdered sugar recipe…it works but not as well I put it on one of my pumpkin rolls and it did keep it from sticking to the paper tho.

I agree that there are a lot of people out there shopping but what I noticed in Kohls was people looking at the sales and buying those items more.

I know I did ….

SUSIE:::: I know you have to feel lots better with the drains and stitches out….I hope you come to the support meeting on Monday…the 28th lol anxious to see you….what did you have done to your eyes anyway??? The lids or what?

SUSAN:::::are you still trying to lose weight? If you are in smalls already why would you want to lose more? Lol

Hope you have fun at your brothers house for Christmas….

Jan I had the upper nd lower eyes done. I had way to much skin on the upper lids. I could not even see my lashes they were so baggy. I also had developed bags under my eyes so I had something done there too. I can see a big difference in the upper lids already not so much the lower.
I was told when I got my knees not to ever jog or run or kneel. I would think all the different knees would work the same so before you try it I would ask the doctor.

It looks like I might get a white christmas after all. Poor DS is afraid it will hinder his trip home. Its kinda funny but every single time he flies out of Springfield at Christmas he is delayed. Sometimes till the next day. Usually it about four hours sitting in the airport. He hates that. I will enjoy seeing the snow fall and having my kids here with me.

I pushed myself a bit yesterday out shopping and it wore me out. I will take it a bit slower today. I still have a few small things to pick up. Over all I think I am recovering pretty fast.  I still have steri strips on my legs so I haven't gotten a real good look at my scars. I think they are placed in a good spot and I am hoping they won't look too bad.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas and that all your wishes come true.

It's raining this morning.  Sure hope it doesn't start freezing.  Christmas Eve we're going to my niece's in Blue Springs, about 10 miles from where I live.  I'm taking most of the meal (Mexican) since she is hosting.  I'll be taking Chicken Enchiladas, Taco Pie and Sopipilla (sp?) Cheesecake.  My sister loves Bread Pudding so I might make that.

Jan, I thought dumping was always diarhea or vomiting.  I have had a few times when I was hot then cold, had stomach pain and just felt really sick.  Sugar makes me sleepy but I can't go to sleep.  I ate a few dipped pretzels the other night and couldn't go to sleep for hours.

I use Splenda or Nature's Crystals in anything for me, but for giving I use sugar.  It's cheaper and if they aren'****ching their weight I figure it doesn't matter.

I was hoping for a slow week at work but I've been really busy.  We have the next 2 days off as well as New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Happy Hump Day!  I am so glad this is my last day of work for 4 days.  Not that I have really been working that hard.  I am so glad that Marissa and Ashley have been here to help me with the kids.  My cleaning lady was here today I am so thankful that she comes every two weeks and cleans the things that I hate to do.  I also just got done texting Connie Sue and she is hoping to come home today.  She said she was a little sick to her stomache this morning but they gave her something and she feels better now.  Colette is going to try and  stop by today that will be nice to meet her.  I hope everyone has a great day!
