Gall Bladder Attack??

Well, here I am again.  Have any of you had a gall bladder attack?  I've been hurting on and off for over a month now.  I've been taking 2 pain pills a day.  Today I only took one this morning.  I can take up to 4 a day, however, I NEVER do that.  Actually, I usually don't take them but once or twice a month.  Anyways, I've been so busy these past few days.  I had my grandson over here tonight and we tried putting together TWO Gingerbread houses and they both FELL apart!  Needless to say, we were both disappointed.  I ended up having my husband take him home because my right side right under my rib cage hurts so bad!  I have all the symptoms of a gall bladder attack ( I looked on the web). 

It said that if you were running a fever you should go to the emergency room.  Well, my temp is officially 99.8 with a forehead thermometer.  My temperature usually runs below 98.6.  I'm going to go take a pain pill and go to bed.  I am exhausted and I hurt.  I'm going to use a heating pad to see if that helps.  I'm going to call Dr. Hornbostel in the morning.

I would go to Shawnee Mission Medical Center which is only 30 minutes from me as where Dr. H is an hour and a half.  But the last time I went back in Jan of 08 I spent two days and they ran all sorts of tests and said I had a gastric fiscula.  They sent me to Dr. H.  Dr. H ran his own tests and said he didn't think it was a gastric fiscula but an internal hernia.  However, he wouldn't know for sure until he got in there.  Thankfully, he was right and he was able to fix it within 45 minutes.  The other surgery would have been over 4 hours!
So if I go to SMMC they will probably just turn around and have me go to Dr. H anyways.  Very frustrating to say the least!  David has to work tomorrow and Thursday, so my son, Luke will have to take me. 

Anyways, please pray for me.  I will try and keep you all posted.

Debbie it certainly sounds like the Gallbladder...please go see Dr. H. for sure... and if you dont know it can get really serious real quick and you can wind up in the E.R with surgery being done in the middle of the night ....i know it happened to me... so take care and get to D. H and find out for sure. ok? I know it is Christmas but your health is more important love you
