I'm so excited!
Its the little things in life that mean the most to me. My mom married my father when she was 16 and he was 17. I wasn't born for 5 years after that. They divored when I was 5. So my mom saved her wedding set for me and gave it to me as an adult. She wanted me to have it. Its pretty,Two white gold bands with a small diamond. I always loved it but could never wear it because my mom has tiny fingers. I had it in a jewlery box for years. I could have had it sized but I didn't want to alter it in anyway. I was cleaning last week and looked in the jewlery box and there it was, I took it out and it slid right on my finger! I could cry! This ring means so much to me noone has any idea. My grandma said they worked so hard to buy that ring from Zales way back then. Its now 54 years old. I'm thrilled beyond words! The wonders of wls never cease! ;) Lou
WOW that would be such an excellent commerical for WLS! I have my parents rings too, they are no longer here on earth and I have the same sentimental feelings as you do. I'm not sure I will ever be able to wear them as I take my size from my father's side. But at least now I have a sense of hope that some day just maybe.
