Monday wow, just 5 days till Christmas and 10 till the end of the year. I still havnet figured out where this year went …I want to tell all of you that read my post MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I have gotten away from sending Christmas cards don’t know if it is because of old age, laziness or not having the funds to do so or what ever…. I want to wish all of you a wonderful and glorious Christmas may the New Year be everything you are hoping it to be… love , hugs and best of wishes for everything you want in the New Year. ….

I don’t know if I will have much time to put this out for the next 5 days I will try but if you get on here in the morning and I havent started it by 9 am go ahead and start it up if you want ok? I do try to do it at night after I have finally sat down but I know you know how things are around the holidays….I have a lot to do yet..

Susan great to hear from you again….a size small I have some jeans here that I havent been able to get into yet …if you want to come down sometime I will drag them out just let me know when you are coming. Im so proud for you …I know since you don’t have diabetes anymore…isn’t it wonderful.

Sandy::: so glad that you are feeling well and doing good. For the first month you will feel like a nap some days. But as you get stronger you will be feeling better and better. don’t forget to walk and drink as much water as you are suppose to. At the first try to aim for 64 oz a day a few sips at a time. Keep coming on line with us please. We would love to get to know you and for you to get to know us. ….Glad to see that you made it to the Losers Bench….as you lose weight you can move over for the next person to slide in there. Lol

JEANIE=RAE:::::sounds like you are getting lots of work done around there. That is good. New roofs are really good. When we put the new roof on our house we went with a green metal roof…so hopefully wont have to do that anymore. .

Hey to make the pumpkin peanut butter bread do you just add peanut butter to a pumpkin loaf bread.?? Sounds different.

SUSIE::::: oh wow im sure happy for you that things arent as bad as you thought at first….really happy see what prayers can do.

Will be praying for you to get the drains and stitches out and all is healed well. …

Good Morning, I could have slept in till 7, but NO my body wakes me up at 5:30 this morning.  I do feel a nap in my future today.  I should only have 2 kids here all day so that will help alot.  Marissa will be here till 3 and I am having Ashley come at 2:30 to be here when they wake up from a nap.  So I thought I would get on here and say HI, get a jump on my protein, and walking.  Happy  Anniversary to my husband Richard we have been married 13 years today!  Time flies when you are having fun.  I am going to go and get some coffee, talk to you wonderful new friends later.

Good Morning Mimi and Mo...

I'm like you and have just a very short time to do a WHOLE LOT so I wanted to jump on here and

Wish All A Very Merry Christmas as well.

I worked two very long days this weekend and still I had wonderful customers... as of yet I've not seen what every one talks about... the customers being grouchy... I know others have but I've been just blessed not to have encountered it at all...

I got tickled at one man that was setting in front of the ladies dressing room and every time I would go in and out with a load of clothes we would talk about how we were going to charge the ladies a $ each to use it and then we could pay for our Christmas... was just too funny... one little girl came by and said she should get "frequent flyer miles"! Bad part was I was only going to get 25% for keeping my mouth shut about what he was doing! ~tee hee  Just to fun...

Boy have I seen the folks I have known over the years this weekend...they were not bashful about asking me how I had lost so much weight?  And some did not know me, I'm getting kind of used to that.

Well today is my only day off before Christmas so I just have to get what I'm going to get done today... it will be cooking all day.  I have meats and cheeses to slice and candy and cookies to make.

Well Paul went and picked up my Christmas present Saturday morning and I'm just as curious as I can be about what it is? What could he have done that needed to be hauled on the flatbed trailer? hmmmm they (Paul and Crystal) have been tormenting me for weeks now! ~ha I'm not one to care if I get presents or not but this year they sure have teased me about it.  I have just a couple more to wrap and a few last minute fresh ingredients to pick up.

I am going to learn to make those pumpkin rolls you ladies have been talking about... it won't be before Christmas but soon. I've had them a couple of times and they are yummy!!! Those of you that make them will have to give me some tips about how not for the cake to crack... how do you get the cream cheese filling in there when it is already rolled up or is it?

Well I better get busy I'm going to go run first off as I know the later in the day it gets the more tired I will be....

A good day and Wonderful Christmas to all!

Bec, I'll be anxious to hear what you get for Christmas.  Must be really big if it takes a flatbed trailer.

The Pumpkin Rolls are very easy.  I line the pan with parchment paper or waxed paper and bake about 13 minutes.  You turn it out onto a towel sprinkled with powdered sugar and roll it up while it's warm.  When it has cooled, unroll it and spread on the cream cheese mixture to within an inch of the sides. Then roll up again.

Jo... thanks for the info on the pumpkin rolls... I guess I just can't get it in my head that the cake will not break?  Does the towel have to be a flour sack type towel? How tight do you roll the towel? When you go to spread the cream cheese mixture it still does not break?  I will be anxious to try this... maybe for New Years?

I can't wait to see what Paul got me too! They have just harassed me to the nines about it... Paul tells me it has two wheels... but I think he is telling a false hood or it is a tiller! egads! ~tee hee Be like getting an electric skillet!!! Something to work with! ~ha... I would like a Mantis tiller though for gardening but maybe not for Christmas?  Like I said I really am not one to care about getting the presents but they have teased me so much I'm so curious!!! The stinkers!

The rolls do crack but I've never ruined one because of a crack.  The flour sack type works best but I've used terry cloth.  I used to shy away from making the rolls but after making one and seeing how easy it is, I make a lot of them.  The warm cake rolls easily.  As you are rolling, roll the towel up with it.

Good luck!!

Good morning everyone!  I'm so excited about Christmas!  I finally got Gage off to Arizona.  I took him to the airport on Friday @ 8:30pm for a 9:30 flight.  I just get home and he calls me and says there is a problem with his plane and its been grounded.  So I go back out there and pick him up.  By now its like 10:30.  Then Frank has to take him back out there at 1:00AM, yes that AM and I get a text from him that they are boarding the plane finally and its 2:15.  He gets to Phoenix at 5:15 am.  What a crazy deal.  Something was wrong with the planes radar so they had to wait for a new plane.  He's out there and excited its 70* and beautiful.  He only called me 4 times yesterday lol.  Frank and I finished up our shopping yesterday and today I'm making brownies for his work.  Last night we had some friends over and grilled burgers and exchanged gifts.  We had a great time.  I just love this time of year, just like summer everyone gets together, you get to see family you don't see that often.  Its great!  I have a Christmas party to go to tonight so I don't think I'm going to make the meeting unless it gets over early enough.  If I don't see you I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and the happiest New Year!  Bring on 2010!!!! ;) Lou
