WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY DEC17
Was warm today but sure wasn’t sunny…about 3pm the sun finally came out and now I guess it will start being cold again…may even have a white Christmas. That would be different for the boys , coming from Houston. We may have the rental house sort of full Christmas night. Kim and her family may stay all night and then Michele and her boyfriend and his daughter may stay all night. I will have to try and come up with air mattresses or regular mattresses …I guess one of the boys can sleep on the couch and then Michele and her bunch can have one of the bed in the guest house….maybe Michele will clean up the trailer for me that way lol …then I can put the other in the rental house on the air mattress.
Well since I am doing all the side dishes I am going to get them started tomorrow I will freeze them and then warm them up the day after Christmas when everyone will be here.
Lol today I made a pot of chili the same size I always make which last Joe and I several meals ..its all gone!!! Those boys sure can eat. I don’t know how im going to afford them …we thought George had a job with Best Buy but so far they havent called him…?? He is getting a little depressed about not being able to find anything even if it is just temporary . Bless his heart. He has got to get a job so he can get a car…it will be pretty expensive to take him to class and back 2 times a week . If we take him it will amount to 4 trips a week ….oh well. Maybe we will sell the rental house. And can find something cheap
I made two more orange date nut cakes today….now for one more for dessert on the 26th. Then I need to make some more pumpkin rolls …have taken more or less a poll of all who are getting one or the other and I need about 3 more rolls…so more to be made. …as you can see I have lots of work to do this next week …..
I almost forgot until I looked at the calendar and realized that Saturday the 19th is our anniversary….wow 22 years and we still love each other. It certainly doesn’t seem like 22 years and at other times it seems like there has never been anyone or anything else…im really glad that Joe is in my life and he is so good to me that I have never had a complaint…I think he is as happy as I am but I know lot of women that have thought that and all of a sudden he leaves lol .. Anyway Joe is such a romantic that I don’t think he will do that. Lol…
JO;;;;;;; isn’t it fun when you can get into something that was too tight before??? You know I still don’t wear belts with shirts tucked in…it isn’t that I cant but im so short waisted that it makes me look cut into and like my waist is up under my boobs lol really it does. So I wear my blouses down past my waist so that it looks like it is longer. I have worn a pair of low rise jeans with the blouse tucked in and a belt which looks a lot better .
I hope your husband will get better soon. And that they can find out what is going on with his health.
I too have my youngest daughter who has a problem with alcohol …she too is good most of the time to me but is so bad and mean to herself.
SUSIE::::: are you still grouchy? Lol I know how you feel. I have been feeling really grouchy too. That is what this weather is good for. I imagine that being cooped up is what is happening to you too. I bet you will be feeling better in a few more days when you can get out on your own….maybe by the 28th you will feel like coming to the COF meeting will love to see you again.
SANDY::::: well hello girl ,been awhile since you have been on here . I guess you are like most everyone else been so busy that no time to get on computer. Im glad that you will be going to sons for Christmas.

Janet, Peggy, Pooh Bear, Renee and all the others that I cant think of right ….you all are missed and it makes me really really worry about all of you when we don’t hear from you….If I didn’t write your name that doesn’t mean that I don’t miss you too, it just means im old and cant remember stuff well lol
ANDY ,,,,yeah those things i do with the c pap and it still does it so dont know what the answer is ...i know when you say something to them they look at you like your nuts. lol

I am wishing the economy will pick up for everyone soon. I saw where several hundred got laid off in Springfield yesterday. Things just keep looking bad. Around here if you are not military or work for the military there are no jobs. I feel sorry for anyone out of work around here. That includes my oldest son. He has told me so many lies about things I never know what to believe. I just thank God we have the means to keep a roof over his head for now. If we keep going the government is gonna go bankrupt and then heaven only knows what will happen.
I will feel so much better when I get these stupid drains out of my legs. I have to wait till Monday.I guess they are doing their job because I haven't had any leg swelling as far as I can tell and my legs are definitely smaller. I wish so much I had done the stomach at the same time and I might have been happy enough to stop . I have to go back now for one more round at least. I have to finish the job and get some sort of a normal looking body. Even though I am happy with my weight and overall size there is still way to much skin. Only one cure for that. SURGERY.
Looks like the weather is gonna go downhill today. Stay warm and dry.
Baked 17 mini loaves of banana bread and 2 reg. loaves . Going to give all mini ones to widows and widowers in church. Baking today. Next week wont be o much - all family will start coming in on Sat for a week so need lots of food.
Just talked to sandy and she may come home tonite. already was up and walked and showered and drinking. Weather is to be bad tonite.

I saw the orthopedic doctor about my shoulder and hands. He wants me to have PT on my shoulder which I probably won't do. It's $20 copay per visit and they don't take patients past about 4 pm. I'll just have to live with it. My right hand has arthritis and the left has carpal tunnel. He fitted me with supports for both hands.
I'm finishing up shopping this afternoon. I went to Costco and bought several healthy snacks, handy to take to work. I've gotten careless about eating things I don't need. Even if they don't cause problems I shouldn't be eating them.
Hubby told me this morning he can tell I'm losing inches. Maybe the pounds will start moving. I'm going to get back to the gym.
I have a follow up appointment with the ob-gym this afternoon.
It's cold today and a little sun now and then.
