Daily Bible Reading - Tuesday - December 15th
What’s your attitude today? Do ya have an attitude of “oh I’ll be alright I guess"? That’s how I used to live, just thinking we’ll make it somehow, we’re on God’s “just get by" list. We’ll I’ll tell ya, that’s the stinking thinking from that ole devil who doesn’t wanna see us be blessed and prosperous. God wants us in the overflow of blessings but we have to change our attitude from the I’ll just get by thinking to the I’m on my way out thinking. Our attitude can make us or break us. I had no idea at one time that our attitude was that important but it really is. God has so much for us, so many blessings for us, so many good things in life that there is no way to count them all. Now’s the time to get that “stinkin thinkin" outta of our lives and freshen up our minds with “God’s thinkin", trust me, it will change your life.

Daily Devotional
"…we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance"
(Psalm 66:12, NIV)
Friend, no matter what your cir****tances may look like today, God's plan is to bring you through to a place of abundance. He wants you to have an abundance of peace, an abundance of joy, an abundance of resources—He wants you to overflow with His blessings so that you can be a blessing to the people around you.
One thing I've learned is that if you want to live in the overflow of God's blessings, you have to have an attitude to receive the overflow. Remember, as a believer in Jesus, you are a child of the Most High God. Royal blood is flowing through your veins. You were not created to be average. You were not created to barely get by and drag through life. You have seeds of greatness on the inside. You are well able to do whatever God has called you to do!
Today, I encourage you to put your shoulders back, hold your head up high and start thinking like a victor. And when you're a victor, you know that any adversity in your life is not permanent, it's temporary. Have the attitude to receive the overflow of God's abundance. Keep believing and keep expecting because it's just a matter of time until He turns things around in your favor!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, today I open my mind and heart to You. I choose to believe that You have a good plan for me. By faith today, I receive the blessings You have for me so that I can be a blessing to others. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
I particularly liked this portion of the devotional today...
"Royal blood is flowing through your veins. You were not created to be average. You were not created to barely get by and drag through life. You have seeds of greatness on the inside. You are well able to do whatever God has called you to do!"
WOW that's exciting to me! I sure have lived well below my potential for many many years... what a great year it has been and so much the Lord has done for me! I sure can look back and see how my attitude has changed with the physical changes in my life as well as the spiritual. I am looking forward to what the Lord has for me next with an excitement I've not had in a long long long time! "seeds of greatness"... you know that could be as little or as big and still be "greatness" if we are doing what the Lord has planned for us!
Have a great day!
