Whats Happening Sunday For Jan

Jan has been having trouble getting onto the OH board again.  It has to do with Windows Defender on her PC, I disabled it last time and she was able to get on, hopefully she can do that again and get back on. 

Not much going on with us here,  got all the Christmas decorations up and lights on and stuff.  I didn’t put up as many lights outside as we usually do this year,  our house is quite a bit higher then Jan’s rental and I don’t have a ladder to get up that high and put lights around the roof so I just put them around the front door and front deck, then I put icicle lights around the top of the skirting, it don’t look to bad, wish I had a tall ladder though so I could put them up on the roof, maybe next year.  Gotta work on Christmas cards this week, I wanna get them out before it gets to close to Christmas, I have a habit of waiting til the last min.  lol.

Anyone been watching Biggest loser?  Can’t believe this week is the finale.  Did ya vote for which one to keep in the finale?  We went to vote and could not find the link to vote.  It was suppose to be open until midnight wed. but it wasn’t there, I saw a forum where A LOT of people were having trouble voting, sure makes ya wonder how fair the voting is.  Who were ya gonna vote for?  It looks as if the majority were gonna vote for Amanda.  On the forum on the biggest loser website a lot were against Liz because of her being two faced, saying she was gonna vote off Tracy as soon as she got the opportunity but then when it came for her to vote off Tracy she didn’t lol.  I really hope Danny wins, I think he’s done so good, he was a lot like me when I was huge.  Did y’all see the episode when they showed the winner from a couple seasons ago, Eric?  Wow he gained all his weight back, that sure makes me keep an eye on my weight and what I’m eating, even us that have had WLS are still able to gain the weight back if we are not careful, I know because I gained about 50 or so pounds  back before we moved to Branson, ya might not think its easy to do but it really is.

Well I better get this posted for Jan and get myself ready for church, Susan has to work today so we go to the early service.  Y’all have a great Sunday.

Good morning Andy, Jan and all of OH. I'm really not ready for the cold, and now it looks like we might get the white stuff already. Finally got my dresser in the bedroom and cleaned up, had to use some old english with stain to cover a few scratches, and fixed a couple of the drawer guides, but it is really a nice looking dresser and matches the king size four poster my husband bought back in the 90's. We used to have mix-match whatever we could get cheap or for free, we did get this cheap but only because it needed a little TLC.

Jan I wish I new how to help you with you computer. I have windows vista and have not had trouble getting into the OH website. I'm also not a computer wiz, so even if I tried to help I'd probably put you in deeper.

I'm not sure if we're gonna put up our little bitty tree or not. I'm still trying to get all my family pictures hung in the living room and have frames and pictures laying everywhere. I love to see all the houses lit up this time of year, that's one of the things that I can remember loving when I was little, seeing all the Christmas Lights. I'm thinking about doing some baking for the family this year, and then just get some little trinkets for the Grandbabies. As much as my kid love my cooking I think that would be a good deal.

Well got a lot of things to do today, hope everyone has a good day, and all you getting ready for WLS and PS I pray that all goes well.

I'm a BL follower.  I too would like Danny to win.  Definitely don't want Rudy.  He lied a few times when he indicated he would help someone and then turned on them.  I really like Amanda too.  Liz is 2 faced so I didn't vote for her.

I think a lot of people that have WLS think it's magic, the weight will fall off and they will never be overweight again.  That's not how is it.  It is work to lose and keep it off.  I've had no gains but I'm not losing anything.  I'm happy with where I am but not the numbers on the scale.  I still can't eat much at a meal.  I prefer healthy foods and have never had any food mourning.  Ice cream doesn't sit well at all not mater whether it's SF or no sugar added.  Tastes good going down but upsets my pouch so I never eat it and don't miss it. 

For all my adult life I'm done a lot of baking and making treats but I'm not doing it this year.  I realized I really don't have the interest in it and I do not need to be eating most of what I would make.  I did make
Chocolate Bread to give away.  I made several batched of Party Mix.  I will make my boys cookies but I don't need them nor do I need the temptation.  I'll also make Pumpkin and Banana  Breads to give away.  I have a healthy Banana Bread recipe I can make for me.

Looks like snow is headed to our area.
