PHSYC EVAL.

Good morning OH,

Well Jan we got something started, go for Phsyc eval. next Thur. Dec. 10, will be about a 4 hour deal, talk to Dr. Essman for about an hour then do about 3 hours of Q & A. This is part of Medicare and Humana's requirements.

I think this is going to be the most nerve racking on me cause even after you do something like this they won't or can't tell you anything till they have done all of their evaluating. I hope that once this is done things will go a little faster.

I have a lot to do today, around the house, still have some Turkey left so I'm gonna try to make the guys some turkey tamales. Have really researched the recipes on line and think I found the one I need.

better watch out letting me motivate you to doing something lol....my phsyc eval he told me that i was very controling lol i told him hmmm you think???lol  he said that type person usually did well on a strict subject tho.  those 3 or 4 hours are just asking you some of the same things over and over in different manners so dont get bummed out ok?

No not gonna get bummed. I actually feel a little more peaceful now that I know they haven,t just stuck me in the files somewhere.

Well Turkey's gone now, turned out really good, any turkey I eat in the future will be roasted without any breading or masa. LOL. I'm looking for something to do for Christmas for all of them so maybe I'll occupy myself baking and cooking for them.

I agree with Jo, I love to cook and will probably just try to start low carb cooking.

When i went for my psych eval they told me that it was going to take that long and I was only there for like 45 minutes i could not believe it..I am going to try to go back in January to start all over since my liver is doing much better...I wonder if i will have to start at the begining or they will just go ahead and schedule me?...AAHH the questions

I'm glad to hear you're doing good. I think things will probably be starting for me after the first of the year also. I didn't see that you had posted till just today. I go back to the phsyc on the 28th for follow-up, don't know if that has to happen before my first consult with Dr. Edwards. I know it's gonna happen, just have to be patient, and consistant.

Let me know how things go. Maybe we can post and get on the losers bench around the same time. Who knows.
