Daily Bible Reading - Monday - November 30th

My goodness, it was just yesterday that it was November 1^st and here it is the last day of the month.  Time is flying by as if we are rolling down a hill and picking up speed.  Just think though, we are almost done with reading the bible in a year.  Did ya think at the beginning of January that you’d finish reading it this year?  I have to admit I had my doubts at first, I’ve never been one to finish things like that, especially since I have never been a very big reader but now that we are nearing the end I hear my spirit saying to me it’s time to finish strong, take a deep breath, buckle up and finish this reading race we’ve been after for 11 months.  This next year is gonna be a year of finishing up, finishing things that we’ve started and just set aside.  For me it’s finishing up my education that I started over 20 years ago, if I can read the bible in a year and fini**** then I can finish up things I’ve started.  Time is pressing on us, there’s a great need in our world to finish up bringing in the harvest and we have to be ready.  Once the harvest is ripe we have to get out there and bring it in before we lose it, what a time we live in, a time of finishing things up.

Daily Devotional

"I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades"
(Revelation 1:18, NIV)

Have you ever been locked out of your car or house? It can be very frustrating and inconvenient. Not having the right keys can keep you stuck and unproductive. It steals your time and can steal your peace and joy if you let it.

On a spiritual level, we need keys to access what God has for us—eternal life, peace, freedom, and blessing. But we don’t have to stand on the outside and be frustrated because the good news is, Jesus holds the keys, and He has opened the way for us to walk from death to life. We don’t have to live in defeat, mediocrity, sickness, sin, or any kind of bondage any longer. We have access to the abundant life Jesus came to give!

Today, if you feel stuck, locked out, or defeated; remember, Jesus is the one who holds the keys. All you have to do is call on His name and He will answer. He promises to hear you and will deliver you! Call on His name today and receive the salvation and deliverance He has already prepared for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

"Father God, I boldly come to You today and thank You for giving me access to life through Your Son, Jesus. I surrender every area of my heart to You and ask that You make me whole and complete. Set me free from anything that would keep me from You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen."
