WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

I hope any of you that went out today made it thru and are all ok. I stayed home and bought some awesome stuff online. Even the things that some people stood in line for I got on line. …or at least from what I saw on their sale ads.

We had our Thanksgiving dinner Friday, was such a beautiful day that we at outside …we had 4 outside tables and a small one for the babies. Was so nice. And everyone really enjoyed it so much. It got up to 65 and so sunny and no wind . The guys all played basketball after lunch while my new daughter in law to be and my granddaughter cleaned up the kitchen. I was so proud of them , because by then my leg was really hurting. So I sat in a chair with my leg up and played with the bablies. …wasn’t bad at all. But by the time everyone left I was so tired I just didn’t know if I could make it to get on my p.js. And get a pain pill and go to bed. …

COR::::: that is the best news of all that you have quit the throwing up…that alone will mess up your vit. Levels. And will make you sicker than you want to be …in the process of de carbing your self please don’t not eat. There are lots of things that you can eat that are good for you , and that has no carbs. . Meat of all kinds. Green veggies and fresh fruit. Those are the things that we need to eat, no breads , no crackers , no chips and dip you will get it sweetie , just keep drinking lots of water and take all of the vits you are suppose to take. Please please take all of the multi vits, complete b vits. Calcium, vit d and what ever else your doc has recommended. ….we don’t want to lose you …

JO:::: I know what you mean and it is so hard for us to realize that we need calories. To make us lose weight . When we get on a stall the first thing we think of is to cut calories. But in our case we probably arent getting enough in anyway. When before we had surgery we were getting a lot of calories in and could cut some but we cant do it now. We just need to cut the right things…which means carbs but keep the protein and the calories …it is stupid and hard to do but I guess it is duable. Not easy by any means. And I sure didn’t follow the rules today. But you know I us to think before surgery that if I messed up one time when I was on a diet it was over with. I had messed up and if I couldn’t do it right every minute of the day it wasn’t working. Now I know that it is just what it is ..I messed up this day, but tomorrow is another day…clean and free of mess up. So anything is doable. Lol

Hey im like your dad cash fits everyones sizes and style…anyone that doesn’t like toys gets gift cards or cash. …just wont be as many of them or as much this year.

Im thankful for all of you my friends. My family and most of all my God.

Good morning!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We had a great time and shopping yesterday was a blast.  We got to WalMart at 3 am and walked away with everything we wanted including a 32 in lcd, hdtv for 249! Jade will be so excited.  Its for her room. That was half price!  LEI jeans for 9$ with a free tshirt.  I can't believe I'm in a size 8/9 WOW! We went to Kohls and Bass Pro, JCP and today I'm going to hit Sears.  We do this every year.  We left the house at 3 am and were back home by 9:30 with all the shopping done.  We cracked up all day at the crazy people.  I went skipping threw Bass Pro and Frank was laughing so hard, everyone was crazy! Tonight we are going to my aunt and uncles for Thanksgiving  with all my cousins and grandparents then I will decorate for Christmas on Sunday.  This is my second Thanksgiving where I lost weight instead of gaining! WOOHOO!  Its an awesome feeling.  My mom made me some sugar free pumpkin pie without crust and it was so good!  Here is our family picture from Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Lou ;)

No shopping for me yesterday.  I don't like crowds and there really wasn't anything I wanted to buy.  Today I'm going to Kohl's for a purse they have advertised and I also need a pair of size 19 knitting needles.  I'm making scraves for charity.

My GDs came over and helped decorate the tree.  We watched Santa Buddies, very cute movie.  They wanted Grandma's spaghetti and meatballs so that's what we had.  I used WW spaghetti and frozen meatballs (I know.....lazy) but they loved it.  I really didn't care much for the meatballs.  Next time I will make them fresh.

Hubby went to the hockey game and I watched Christmas Wonderland and Four Christmases, both pretty good.

Tonight we're going to my niece's for T-giving dinner.  I'm taking a Cream Cheese Pumpkin Pie and it will be sugar free.  I'm not telling though.

Another sunny day.  So nice to see the sun even if it is cold.

Jan, hard to believe  you could eat outside in late November.  Sounds like you had a great day!

Hi Jan and all OH Friends,

Just gonna jump on and let everyone know I have survived Turkey-Day and making Black Friday Tamales, my daughter and her husband and daughter left this morning and I'm kind of re-cooping. I opened my big mouth and told all four of the kids that before and after surgery there would be no heavy duty mom's cooking for them, so they hit me hard with wanting the tamales their grandma taught me to make and so-on. I started cooking tuesday and finished last night at 6:30 when I took the tamales off the stove so we could wrap them. Of course they helped but it is still a big job. Had fun with all the grandbabies. Especially the two youngest, they are both aproaching two years old and little attention getters.

Jan I'm glad to hear your not giving up What's happening. I love reading what everyone is doing. Sounds like you had a good T-Day also.

Lou I agree with everyone else you just don't look old enough to have children older than 5 or 6. Looks like you are blessed with those gene's that keep you young.

I hope everyone else had a great Thanks-giving, it kind of kicks off the Holiday Season and even though I don't do alot of other big ta-da's I like the Good Spirit I see people get into and that can make it all good.

God Bless all of you, talk to ya later.

PS. Jan the support for Dr. Edwards is like the first or 2nd monday at 5:30 til 6:30?. So it won't interfere with the COF. Didn't make the last one but will be there for the next. Have we decided whether we are gonna have a Chrismas Party or will there just be the regular meeting?
