Hi all. Things are really looking good on the knee front lol .,,, I got it to bend to 100 degrees today. Wow. 125 is about tops. So it is almost up to normal. Great huh? And for a almost 69 year old that is supper great. Or at least I think so…

Hey Jeanie, Im not giving up the What Happening post , at least not yet….may have to if I ever figure out what it is that God is leading me toward.. I just don’t know how to listen well I guess. How do you know that it is God leading you and not mere mortals and situations ?

Joe took George and Patrick to Branson to turn in more applications for jobs. George had an interview too. And they had to go by the school to see what the last process is for making sure they get the clases etc they want. …I told them too to be sure and ask them at the school if they have any jobs for any of them…..

Well the boys came back, they got Pats I. d. fixed up and George said they told him they would call tonight or tomorrow morning. He found out that in 2008 and living with his other grandparents that they made too much money for him to get a pell grant….anyone know of anything else he might try??? Besides a student loan….of course it wont be that much money but the interest eats them alive…

Jeanie-Rae I guess you can see from up above that I answered some of your post already.

I hope that the meetings at St. Johns arent the same time as the COF ones…they use to be I don’t know if they still are or not. But I think myself that you cant get too many meetings in …the more the merrier. And the more you learn. They also do a lot of deep medical informations where we do more of friend on friend with problems.

Jo:::: hey you can come steam my floors while you are at it..

I certainly wish you were closer too. Would love to meet you too. …..love you and hope all is well.

Good Morning Missouri,

Thought I would jump on here this morning before I start my busy day again and wish all a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving.  Have been working on things around here and am going this evening to do some "redneck" meat grinding... should be lots of fun if nothing else a good laugh ~tee hee... a neighbor has a unique way of grinding his sausage and burger... he some how hooks the grinder to the rear wheel of his pick up and two people set on a board and I'll have to find out the rest tonight... we have been joking about it for months...so he invited me down to participate!  What else could I get into? ~ha

Have some cooking and a bit more decorations to fix up... I need to straighted the garage a bit too...

Will be a quiet day here tomorrow with just the girls and Paul here. Then I will work at Penney's the rest of the weekend.  Will do a bit of shopping early next week.

I was so sorry to hear Pooh's mom passed away, she and her family are surely in my prayers!

Mimi~ I'm glad that your knee is doing so well.  Know you are really ready to be back in top form...at least as much as possible.  Am praying for your grandsons and Michelle as well.  Know you will be good for those boys.

Susan ~ Sounds like you stay pretty busy at your job. Hope you enjoy making the recipes your momma used to make and they bring good memories as well.

Well time to get on out there and run and get with all that's on my mind... ~ha

Have a wonderful weekend all. Will pop back on the first of next week and let you know how working retail on "black Friday" went... oh dear... still don't like that term. ~ha  But am looking forward to mingling with the customers.

Jan, so glad you're knee is healing so well.  Yes, I'll be right down to steam clean your floors, your furniture or whatever you need steamed.  I love this thing.  I've always destested mopping floors but no more.  It's all steam, no chemicals.

I have a really busy day today, mostly cooking, but a little dusting and vacuuming.  I'm hoping Max will vacuum.  I have 2 pies to make for the church that is providing a dinner tomorrow for anyone that needs it.  These will be pumpkin.  Tomorrow I'm taking corn casserole, fruit salad, sweet potatoes and a dessert to my SDs.  She asked me to bring a veggie but I always take more.  I prefer sweet potatoes over white tators.  They will have pie but it won't be sugar free so I'm taking a dessert I can eat.

My kids are coming at noon for lasagna.  I'm making a sugar free cheesecake.  They will never know it's SF.  Saturday my niece is having T-giving dinner and I'm taking dessert which will be SF.

I ordered several things from netrition.com.  Their service is great and they have a minimal shipping charge of $4.95 no matter how much you order. I got white and brown sugar substitute that's really good for baking.  Also got AchieveOne protein RTD and it's very good.

Bec, I don't envy you working Black Friday.  What a way to be initiated back into the work world!!  I won't be leaving the house Friday.  A friend of mine goes out with her mother for an all nighter.  Walmart has a slow cooker I want for $13 so I told Shanna to get me one.  I'll pay her a bonus!!

Hello Jan and all,

Jan so glad your knee is coming along.  You will be busy busy busy this summer with all the extra you can do without your knees hurting..Bet you wanted to hear that as if your not busy enough, you wear me out..

Just wanted to get on here and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
Even with all the sadness that has been in our lives this year we all have so much to be thankful for.

My weight is holding steady, I wished I could get off a few more lbs. but can't seem to get them gone. I think I am doing things right, how do you get it started going downward again? Wonder if I will ever be completely satisfied with my weight.  I am in a size 18, and I feel good and look decent. That is down from a size 32 so I am thankful for that.
I probably could exercise more but I think with my knees and back the way they are it would be useless to join a gym.  I try to walk most everyday.  My daughter found me a bike that I have been wanting, at an auction, so this summer I will try riding. Maybe some this winter.. I haven't been on a bike for years and years..It doesn't have any gears on it, just get on and ride. Its just an old time bike, I have looked for one for a long time. Only paid $7.00 for it and it is in really good condition.

I am still babysitting my grandkids.  My daughter is working on her masters in nursing and has decided to go ahead an become a doctor so she is very busy. I am really proud of her. she is a single mom and working full time plus going to school. Maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I don't know how she has the strength.  Sorry just had to brag a little on her.

Had to get me another computer, my old one crashed   lost alot of pics and things. I was getting pretty antsy until I got a new one. How did we ever live without the internet.

Well guess I will get off here and get busy doing something.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL
