Daily Bible Reading - Tuesday - November 17th
Have you ever felt like giving up? Felt like you have been doing all the right things but the wrong thing keeps happening? I know I have felt that way many times. You feel like you just want to give up and say forget it. That’s the time you really want to dig your heals into the ground and stand firm for what your believing for. In Ephesians 6 it tells us that when we’ve done all that we know to do then stand, it don’t say to sit or to go lay down or to take a nap, it says when we’ve done all we know to do, to STAND, then it goes on telling us how to put on the whole armor of God, such a powerful chapter. I say all that to tell ya, we’ve all been there, a lot of us are there now, going through different situations knowing we’ve done the right things but yet the wrong thing keeps happening, that’s when stand strong, don’t give up but this is when we are on the edge of victory, satan does not want us to have that victory so he’s gonna try his best to do what he can to shake us up and get us to give up but if we do what the devotional talks about and if keep Eph. 6 on our hearts and put on that armor we’ll come out stronger then ever.
***Bec*** God is continually working and changing our lives right now. Just when I think I have Him (God) figured out He does something else, isn’t that just like Him? Is what I have been trying to do is see the whole picture of what God has for us, when in fact He only shows us a step at a time so lately we’ve just sat back and continued to do one step at a time. God is just like our earthly parents, he likes revealing things to us one at a time like a parent at Christmas time giving your kids presents one at a time instead of all at one time, makes you just love Him even more. Im not caught up with the reading either from when I was sick, hopefully when we get back home from Tulsa I can make a point to sit down and get it done.

Daily Devotional
"I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward"
(Philippians 3:14, AMP)
One thing I've learned is that whenever life seems extra difficult, whenever it seems like the intensity has been turned up, that's a sure sign that you are close to your victory. Whenever negative thoughts are bombarding your mind, or you're tempted to get discouraged, that's not the time to give up! That's not the time to back down. That's the time to dig your heels in. That's the time to press on with a new attitude because you are closer than you think to your victory.
Maybe you've had a lot come against you lately. It seems like the more you pray, the worse things get. Maybe you are doing the right thing, but the wrong thing keeps happening. Instead of getting discouraged, begin to declare, "I've come too far to stop now! I've been through too much to back down. I realize the reason the intensity has been turned up is because I'm about to give birth to my dreams."
Friend, don't allow the enemy to steal from you any longer! Instead, press on toward the goal because you've come too far to give up now. Remember, God Almighty is with you, and He is leading and guiding you down the path of victory in every area of your life!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Heavenly Father, thank You for leading with Your gentle and loving hand. Today I choose to press past my cir****tances and press on into You. Give me strength and hope to move forward into the life of victory You have prepared for me! In Jesus' Name. Amen."
