WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

I think im going to be ready to go to the hospital and have surgery. At least I will have to stop and rest some. We worked all day today. We sit up the tent so we could get that aired out and for sure dried out. It is still sitting up right now,. As soon as the sun comes out and dries the dampness off tomorrow morning we will sweep all the leaves and dirt out of inside and wipe off the bottom as we fold it. And put it up …we are going to take it with us to AZ , we might go for a camp out on the mountains.

This year with us pulling the trike on the trailer we will be able to take so many things that we couldn’t take last year. And can have more good times lol

We may take a few days trip on out to Ca. or up to the grand canyon if it isn’t too bad.

I got so many nics and cuts and scrapes the last couple of days I told Joe that when I get to the hospital im going to tell them I might need a tetanus shot before we go into surgery lol …it has been at least 2 years since I had one if they gave me one before I had my other knee done….

We had some excitement out here today….our neighbor and friend , had to have his wife call 911 today…he thought he was having a heart attack but the EMT thinks he has the flu and it is causing his bp to go up and causing the pain in his chest. Anyway they took him to the hospital…hopefully he will be ok. Im sure his wife and he would appreciate any prayers you all are willing to give him…

SUSIE::::: yeah newly planted trees like lots of water. I planted several fruit trees this spring and they are growing really well too. I cant wait for them to grow and be big and giving us good fruit. I will probably keep them bare as much as I like fruit.

You are right about God not making you to walk in fear. I too am fighting fear and I know it is because of Angie since I am having surgery Tuesday I have been fighting fear but like you I know that God didn’t make me to be afraid of things…He is always there for us in our worst fears and nightmares so hang in there and go forth and see what you can do in the way of plastic surgery….

JOHN:::::::glad your night last night was quite . Hey if you can get in more protein you might lose weight more if you are worried about it. Usually men need close to 100 grams of protein a day…and drinking another one of them a day will help you feel like you are full maybe. You are doing great so im not saying your not. Just maybe a hint to help you feel full. Lol listen to me giving advice , I cant take care of my needs but have advice for you . Wish someone would come up with advice for me to be able to eat better. I feel full too much….so sort of the opposite as you. Btw I think you are doing great.

JO::::::that sounds like a neat way to do that sweat shirt. But that is way beyond anything I can do. Not one of my talents . I always admire people that can sew and do other crafts….I never had the time to learn some of the things I wish I could have. I was a single mother that worked two full time jobs for years and years and any time I did have off I didn’t do a lot lol …

JEANIE-RAE::::: I think if I had 6 kids I would go in the woods and never come out lol ….im glad they found them a nice place to rent to own. That is great.

Yeah Sudafed keeps me awake too lol that is part of the good part of it .take the little red ones they are suppose to only be good for about 4 hours….and instead of taking 2 take one instead. After surgery you can take them too but not the timed released of anything…timed released medications don’t time release they dump all at one time and can overdose us……lot to learn about this surgery huh? Anyway just something I though to that I have learned along the way.

Another beautiful day.  Hubby was looking forward to working outside.  So nice to have sunshine!

I had a little scare at the bus stop this morning.  There was a guy there waiting for the bus and he kept mumbling then he started yelling at cars going by saying he could kill them and his language was awful.  A young woman with a little boy was also there.  He kept talking about killing and going back to prison.  Then he said there wasn't going to be any Santa Claus to the little boy.  I was afraid he was going to pull out a gun.  He got on my bus but never said anything.  You just never know these days.

Jan, I have trouble eating a meal.  I'm full so quickly.  I eat protein first and sometimes get down 2 oz. but then I'm really full.  Can't stand eggs or turkey.  They taste alike.....strange.  I can, however, snack on various things and don't feel full at all so I'm really watching that.  I can consume a lot of calories just snacking.  Now, if I think I want to eat, I drink water and wait 30 minutes.

I do love my protein shakes but prefer them with milk but I limit myself to 1 cup of milk a day.

Jan, I'll say a prayer for you.  You will do fine.

Jan,

I know God is watching out for you, He will be with you tomorrow and all will be good with your surgery. About learning about the surgery I'm sure at first it will be overwhelming but with the support from this message board in addition to the team at Dr. Edwards office I'm sure I'll get what I need.

Am feeling better today, just a little stuffy, not much coughing, but I think my breathing treatments take care of that part.

Yeah 6 kids are a lot, and I know people with that many kids are burdened, but when you think of all the love those kids can give in return it's worth it. Got to spend a little time with the two youngest, they are 3yrs and almost 2yrs old. Jacob is the baby and he looks just like his daddy when he was that age. He loves to be tickled a little and I got every tickle in I could. Matt had to meet the mother of the older 4 to bring them home, she has visits every other week-end as long as she stays out of trouble. I got to feed them some good home cooked food and they love that, I love that I can do that and am practicing because we do a big Turkey Day. All of the Family will be here, we will be cooking all day.

Well everybody have a good day, til tomorrow......

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  We had a nice one, enjoyed this beautiful weather.  My husbands job offered him a store in Joplin.  So we went there yesterday to check it out.  Our friends went with us so we went shopping and to lunch and then hit the casino.  We were there all of 5 min and my friend won 200.00$.  We were all so happy.  It was a great day.  This am I got all my Halloween decorations taken down and now I have to put up the Thanksgiving and fall stuff.  OH MY the leaves in the yard they are horrific, Frank will have to mulch for days.    Jan I know your surgery will go great, you have alot of people praying for you and my friends are going to look for you.  You'll have the best care.   I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  I have to get back to work.  ;) Lou

Jan, sweetie,
I'm going to add my prayers to all the others that are going up for you tomorrow. Know you'll be covered in prayers. We all love you sooooooooooo much. Joe too!!
John's hand is healing - has a real old fashioned cast now - trying to think of something onery to write on it. He probably won't let me!! It's only going to be on for 10 days - then his pin comes out and who knows what joy he'll have after that.
Keep smiling - you'll have everyone in the hospital loving you as much as we do.
Hugs,
Lana
