Anyone know of other local support groups? (STL area)

I had my surgery at DePaul, but they only do a support group once a month.  I sometimes feel like it would be nice to do one once a WEEK!
Are there any people on here who are in the area who know of any other support groups besides at the hospital, or would like to get together somewhere to commiserate? 
I'm in St. Peters.

I want to know this too!! I am in St Peters and still pre-op (which reminds me I need to call and find out if my insurance has made a decision yet!)
I would love to get together sometime. I know of one lady in O'Fallon who had her RNY yesterday. Petrowske is her user name. There is a St Charles one too I think?

it is nice to meet you two ladies .....i know it seems that most of us are from the west side of Mo. but it just seems like the people over there dont want to post. I wish more of them did we would love to get to know all of you.....I cant help much on your questions since i dont know of anyplace over there but hope you all find what you are looking for.    come back often

You can try the one at Barnes Jewish Dr. Christopher Eagon's office with his nurse Donna. It's an excellent group. I believe the 2nd Tuesday of each month? I live in St. Peter's right now. Get with me if you ever wanna hang out or just need support. I am getting ready to move to O'Fallon, IL but still will be close enough!
