WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Joe took me to Springfield yesterday to do all my labs for surgery on the 3rd , took a couple of hours. Wore me out I know for sure. We went and ate lupper after we got done there. I guess it is lupper …..lunch and supper : or is lunner. Lol we then drove home and packed the trike and trailer for our campout in Hatfield. We leave to go down there today early…..

I am up at 6am and as soon as Joe gets his coffee done we will be on the road. Hope to leave here by 8am anyway …it is about a 5 hour ride ,,,long way we will have to stop and rest someplace for awhile. Maybe go walking around somewhere for awhile. But if we leave by 8 we should be down there by 3 anyway. Then we have to sit up our tent, which is a new one….big and roomy with two little side rooms on each side to put stuff in so you don’t have to walk all over it. Then we put up our air mattress. And I bought a big heating pad thing to go on the mattress so we wont freeze.. We always get a camp site with elect….when our friends get there they bring a screened tent for us to sit up our tables and coffee pots chairs and hang our solar lanters around the edges of our tents so we don’t trip at night. …

Then we will make a run to wal mart to get some stuff, there is never room enough to carry all that you need …need bigger trailer. Lol

I sent Walter a check and a card too. I know it by itself isn’t much but all of our not muches put together can make something. Funerals per se is not how I want anyone to remember be ….Joe and I have both sat down and discussed what we want…creamation, and then get a bunch of friends together just to help each other that hopefully loved me no big dinner , no big speaches, Just get together with coffee or such and talk about what a stupid ole woman I was lol

Sounds like Daren is a natural with the racing….maybe you all have something there. Can they make money doing this. Probably can seems like now days the more like a game something is the more money that can be made on it.

Janet just wanted to tell you that when you do have your hysterectomy that it isn’t a given that you have to take hormones….there is all sorts of new herbal things on the market….If your doctor doesn’t know anything about them she needs to read up on them for someone like you ok? But you can find them at any good health food store. They work fantastic.

I had a hysterectomy at the age of 43 and I started off with the hormone pills . I didn’t like the way they made me feel so I quit them and went and found something herbal. For the life of me I can remember the name of them now. Most of the herbal stuff works better …I know that a lot of people don’t like them but they are so much better for you so check them out ..

Sure am sorry that your surgery got canceled. Thos. I know you are too.

Lou hey that is great that your friend works with dr. McClain…he seems to be a good surgeon. He is the guy that put Joe back to gether when he was in his wreck.

Ill have to keep Jennifer in he mind , yeah it is always good to have someone to say hi to you when you are laying there do

Susie:I hope our small accounts tht we are able to spend helps him …I like you comment that it was really expensive to die. Lol

Hope all is well with everyone and remember I love all of you very much.

Off to work this morning at the middle school. I need the diversion. Looks like a rain free day today and I hope the rain will hold off till after the funeral tomorrow. Next week is the soldiers funeral in Illinois. I sure hope I do not have to go to any more funerals for a long time. Hug your family.

Hello All!

Weather is beautiful here in STL today!  I wish I wasn't trapped in the house with the OINK flu!  I did open up the windows so I can at least enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.  My dogs are particularly enjoying this sun and breeze, laying on their lazy butts in front of the patio door.

I started TamiFlu yesterday, so hopefully that will help.  We have 6 people out at my work, but we are exposed to all of this stuff, so it is sort of expected.

I hope everyone is having a great day!

John

Hello Everyone,
Just thought I would pop in and say hi while I'm on a faster computer. I have alot of problem's on the home computer logging on and then once I do it's so slow.....anyways.
Sorry I've been MIA for so long, but it's been super super busy around my house since the kid's have been there, plus little Noah being there takes up a lot of my (play) time. LOL I promise I will try and do better though.
I have been in Charlotte, North Carolina for a week and 3 day's now, and OMG I've been having so much fun with my honey Larry (and I'm not even using a walker yet cough cough Janet lol). We went to DEI (Dale Earnhardt Inc.), wow that place was amazing. I was never much a Dale fan until Larry and I watched his life movie a few month's back, and boy did that movie change my mind. If you've never seen it and your a race fan you should watch it.
Saturday we went to a Nascar race. WoooooHooooo!!! We had a blast. I had never been to one before and it was Larry's second time so we really enjoyed it. I got a really cool surprise from Larry he ordered our ticket's and then handed me $100 in case I wanted anything and he was close. WOW I have the best guy ever. Needless to say we both walked away with a crap load of stuff. He likes to shop wayyyy more then I do, but I'm learning. LOL
I really wanted TONY STEWART or Mark Martin to win, but that didn't happen (not even close), but Jimmy Johnson put on a very cool victory show. At least it was him and not Gordon, Jr, or Kyle Bush. LOL I have pic's of the race and me standing in front of one of Tony Stewart's trucks on facebook, if you want to see them.
I really felt guilty about having fun Saturday after hearing about Angie, but in my heart I knew Angie would want me to go and enjoy myself (because that's just Angie and how she was). She was on my mind and in my heart all day and will always be. I am very proud to have known her, and will always miss her smile, sense of humor, beauty, inspiration, caring word's, her pat on the back, and there is so much more, but mostly I WILL MISS ANGIE.
THANK YOU DEAR FRIEND FOR YOUR TIME AND HEART....YOU WILL ALWAYS AND FOREVER BE IN MY HEART. LOVE YOU SWEET FRIEND.

Sorry to all the newbie's I have missed.....WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME and good luck on your journey's, I for one can say it's amazing.

Janet my dear dear sister I so can't wait to see you and hug you I MISS YOU and in need of sister time.

I hope EVERYONE has a wonderful BLESSED day.
LOVE and HUGS

Renee

Just got on the board after a long weekend in North Missouri visiting daughter and a long-lost, now-found cousin. I'm in shock about Angie. She was such a lovely beautiful person. I guess that reinforces to us that we never know when the Lord will call us home and we need to be ready always. Hugs to all the hurting board people and her family. She will surely be missed.

"WLS is about making better choices, a healthier lifestyle and seeing how little you can eat.  Portion control is the key to all weight loss surgeries.  Bottom line - it isn't how much you can eat - it is how little you can eat."

Yesterday was beautiful, so nice to have sunshine.  At 5:30 this morning we had heavy rain, thunder and lightening.  It has cleared off and the sun is trying to shine.  Supposed to rain starting tomorrow until the weekend.  I'm so sick of rain.

I'm not familiar with Angie but what a tragedy.  I take it she was in for reconstruction surgery and had a blood clot??

Jan, have lots of fun on your excursion.  Camping isn't for me but sounds like you are excited about it.  Different strokes for different folks.....

Hi Everyone,

Have been MIA for a while.  Was in shock hearing about Angie, my prayers go out to her family.

Lana - were you close to Kirksville here in Northeast MO?  If anyone comes up this way please stop in and visit a bit.

The garden has been fall plowed and I have yet to put my canning supplies away.  I finally got the last batch of splenda zucchini relish made and put away.  I have a gollon of hot peppers to can that are waiting in the fridge.  I have them cleaned, deseeded etc... Just have to find the time to char them in the oven to get the skins off then slap them in the jars etc... then I am done with canning!

Had an episode that I never want to repeat again last saturday.  We  were at the casino in Booneville eating when I started feeling funny and very hot - nothing like the dump syndrome just felt funny and had to get out of the dinning area fast.  Made it into the ladies restroom and slid down the wall before passing out.  So many ladies offered to get help for me.  I refused an ambulance, calling my family to come in and getting their first aid people in - I just wanted to be left alone.  No dumping just a little nauseated.  I had only eaten a few bites of prime rib, cottage cheese and green beans and had a couple of sips of ice tea when this happened.  I am wondering what was in the food I ate for this to happen.  It wasn't the flu... eating to fast or taking to large of bites or not chewing enough.  Hasn't happened since.  WEIRD huh!

Please take care - Love ya!
