Dr. Eagon?

Hello Missouri :)

Just wondering if anyone else is using Dr. Eagon.  I feel like I am the only on this website who has picked him.  I am having RNY on 11/30 and I was just wondering.

no sweetie there have been others on here that have used him and have had nothing but good to say about him....it just doesnt seem like there is many from that area up there that get on the board. we sure wish they would because it isnt just for people in s.w. mo.
glad to see you on here and if there is anything we can help you with we would love to...congradulations on getting your surgery date. it is a date that will mean a lot to you forever more.

When I was a surgical tech I went with a surgeon to STL to learn to do RNY with Dr. Eagon and his crew.  They trained us.  He was really nice and a good surgeon.  The nurses told me alot of the staff had gone to him. If the staff is going to him you know he's good! Good luck with your surgery! ;) Lou

Thanks so much.  I researched for a long time before I picked Dr. Eagon.  I work with a group of cardiologist *****commended Dr. Eagon highly.  I will be praying for myself that everything goes ok.  I just read the horrible news about Angie so I must admit I am really scared right now.

I had the lap band done at Wash U. in 12/07 but it didn't work.  I mean the band itself didn' t work and no one could figure out the issue even after all the testing.  I had Dr. Halpin but she left and now my surgeon is Dr. Eagon.  I've been seeing him for over a year and a half and like him.  The only thing I don't like is the 1.5 to 2.5 hour wait at each appointment.  They are bringing in another surgeon though so maybe this will be eliminated.  I and having a revision to the gastric bypass in Dec. (no official date yet) and am nervous about the procedure because I don't think he's done many, if any of these.  I'm encouraged by the comments of others though.  I'm going to stick with him and hope all goes well.  Good luck!
