WHATS HAPPENING FOR FRIDAY
So far it hasn’t rained nearly like it was suppose to down here. But who knows what tonight and tomorrow will bring…we have had some rain but not much. But we will have the run off of all the rain , the lake will be up probably if not tomorrow will be on Saturday but we don’t have to worry about it raising where we are….it would really really have to get flooded to get up to us. Man if it got up to where our house is there would be so much flooded it would be awful. There would be so many people flooded out it would be horrible.
When we got up this morning we had one of our chickens out in the yard and the one that we put in a special pen was back in the general population. The one that we put in the separate pen we did that because a couple of the others was pecking her till she was bleeding. Poor thing. So why did she go back into the pen with the others lol who knows? Likes punisment ?
Well it is getting dark and all the chickens have gone to roost and yep the one we have in the separate pen flew up and over into the reg pen and in the coop she went lol and after I spent about an hour out there this morning fixing her pen all up to keep the rain off her lol crazy hen.
The rain has moved down here toward us and it is pouring down. Have no idea how much so far but it is now 10 pm and it hasn’t stopped since about 6pm..
They are saying that Harrison has had 6 inches and usually we have the same weather as they do.
We will see in the morning . At least we are up high enough that we don’t have to worry about getting flooded in our house , now some of the highway into town might get underwater but I don’t think we have to worry here.
Did you all hear about the 3 high school kids that got killed tonight out at Willard? So so sad when a young life is taken …Feel so sad and sorry for the parents that lose kids like that. .
Susie, well I see you got your approval to go see plastic surgeon ….will they pay for more than just tummy tuck? Would be great if they would but don’t get your hopes up too high …but hope with you ….
Glad that your appointment for your check up when well. ….have you made the appointment for KC yet?
Susan: hope you all havent flooded away ….will be praying for your dad . Oh yeah forgot to tell everyone…The heart place called Joe today and said that his stress test was fine and that there was no problems that they could see. Whew what a relief… I worry too much about him I know lol .
I looked for sweats yesterday but didn’t find any, going to wal mart this morning , I know they will have some but I want the kind that have pockets, I like them really well. I told Joe that we are going to have to dress warmer in the house and keep the heat turned down some….
That is very sad about the lady at your work. So sad.
Lou you are lucky to be in Az. The weather here is horrible. Your picture in front of the mountain is to die for. Sure wish I were there…..where in Az are you at exactly? Chochise? Where in relationship to
Tucson. Just want to know in case if we ever do move to Tucson would want you to come by and see us lol
That is what I would like too, to cinch up my waist lol….and get rid of all the excess skin above and below the waist. I think that is called an upper and lower body lift …and boo coo bucks.

I don’t mean to disagree with your pain doctor and im far from being a doctor but I really think you will have less pain after your hysterectomy…which speaking of which, did you find out when it is going to be yet?
Im with you on finding a cure for arthritis, it is a serious illness that affects a lot of people and affects the way we live to the max …is delibitating and causes lot of things not to be done….
They really should be trying harder I think ….
My doctor ran the blood test here while back too , to check to see if I had RA too. But I don’t thank God.
Am anxious to see you again too. I sure hope that you will be able to be at the this one this month. Then we both have surgerys to get ready for lol…we will have to bet which one of us getup and feeling better the quickest lol…you should being half my age, or close to half my age lol …we will see….love you sweetie
Jeanie-Rae glad you have all your paper work done, it hopefully wont be too long now till you have your first apointment. Hopefully before the next support meeting. That would be nice wouldn’t it.? From what I have heard about Dr. Edwards , im sure you will love him.
The crankyness will get better as you go along , I know you can do it. You appear to be a very controlled and determined woman.
I hope your hubby has good changes with the new meds.

I do have a wow though. When I was at the base Weds. and they were checking me in they asked me how much I weighed. I told her 138 and she looked at me and said ARE YOU SURE? I thought to myself oh no, I should have said 140 or 142. I told her I thought 138 was right knowing she didn't believe me. I figured she thought I weighed a lot more. She told me she would never have thought I weighed that much and that I looked a lot smaller. That did put a smile on my face. I still don't see myself small but its nice to hear other people think so.
I hope nobody floated away in all this rain. It caused me some detours yesterday because of low water crossings but I am high on a hill and if I flood we will all need an ark. DR H gave me a thumbs up and I do not have to go back for a year. I just need to send him my blood work.
I saw Marylin yesterday, she lost her mother last week. she has had a lot of loss recently. Her brother an uncle and her best friend/boss. She always has a smile on her face no matter what.

Good morning everyone.hope you all are staying dry.it was raining some when i was at work and by the time i got ready to leave it was coming down in bucket's.lol.just from the car to the door i was wet through and through.i had a light jacket on too.i told andy i took a shower with my clothe's on.lol.we have our own little pond here in our yard.
we saw on the new's last night where part's of springfield had flooded street's.
jan we are glad to hear joe's test came out good for him with his heart.you worry about him soo much because you love him.i am the same way with andy.he said we got about as much rain as you all did down there.hope you find your sweat pant's today.as cold as it will be getting we will need them for sure.

my dad is doing ok.he is getting harder at hearing.he is also starting to ask for help more if he need's it.still get's a big smile on his face when he see's us.he sure know's what door to come to at the kitchen to get his coffee.

Good Wet Friday morning everyone! I hope all of you are safe and not stranded etc from all this rain/flooding!
We have gotten 8 inches as of last night before I went to bed. Its still raining like crazy and expected to, for the rest of today and into tonite anyway. Geez.... Yep, We ARE flooded in. The two ways out of here, are both flooded over-and the one is totally impossible to go thru, and the one way some ARE getting thru, is really scary. I have to TRY and go to town today. Will see.
I have so many calls to make today and so much to do, I just dont have much time to be here posting, so I am going to make this quick.

I am really going to try and get to the meeting this month. Would love to see everyone and see how many people want to do the Christmas party.....Guess I need to get with Sug and see what she thinks. Havent seen her on here much? I know I havent been back that long, but seems like since I have-alot of the regulars arent posting like they use to.. Havent seen her, or Bec, Peggy.....wish they would-Miss all of them sooo very much. I thought about Barb the other day and I did email her to see if she wanted to meet Steph and I in Harrisonville, because she said she lives close-and i have 2 outfits for her dog, Baby...well-the email came back to me. Megan has her gb surgery on Monday-if everyone would say some prayers that she has a safe surgery, and a speedy recovery I would really appreciate it. I will let you all know how it goes.

Jan, I'm so glad to hear Joe's results are good. I know exactly how you feel about worrying too much. Mine tries to act like I'm being pushy when I start asking questions, men don't think like women and if they did they sure won't let us know it. Mine is feeling better, they put him back on the prednisone but if it helps relieve what ever is going on the I guess that's what he has to do.
Sent the paperwork off this morning so now it's wait and see. Forgot to post that I had lost 10lbs when I weighed in on Tues. So that has me kind of revved up. Dr. put me on Alli, for the controlled pharmac***** Diet, but instead of taking 1 pill at each meal I'm taking one at lunch(cause that's the big me for me) I have to really watch my fat's, I already had to keep it low because of one of my diabetic meds and with alli you have to have a certain amount spread through each meal, gonna be kind of funky trying to eat enough of the right fats at every meal.
Thanks everybody for your concern all the prayers. I know we all have some kind of hardships, some are a little harder than others. So I appreciate that you all are here and care about what others are going thru, I know that God put me here because of the help you all send out through this message board.
