Woohoo!!
Just wanted to let everyone know...I'm feeling great!! I finally have turned that corner and my body is not wanting to step back and start over again (a definite switch). I had another EGD last week and they did dilate me from a 10 to an 18, but no stent. While the doctor was putting me under general I asked him to check out my feeding tube which had been causing a lot of pain and he decided to go in and exchange it for one with a balloon while he was in there. Well, low and behold, he discovered my feeding tube wasn't even in my remnant stomach anymore (good thing I was only flushing it and not using it) so he just removed it with no replacement since he decided not to stent me. Since then, I have been realizing what everyone on here is talking about with their surgery being successful. What a different feeling from the last four months postop that I have had!! I am enjoying my life now. On top of this, I weighed yesterday and found out that I am down 101 pounds since 2-week preop surgery diet! I can finally say I am happy with my gastric bypass!!
Thanks for listening!
