Surgery date

Hello everyeon, it's been along time since I've been here and there's lots of new people.  I have been  approved for RNY, surgery is set for Nov. 13th, thank goodness. I have a little boy that is 9 months old that i'm still breastfeeding.  Not really ready to wean him yet...has anyone ever had RNY while still breastfeeeding?  Just worries about surgery day as he does not like to take a bottle at all.  Any advice would be helpful for me.  Look forward to your response..    Nicole

 Haven't seen this question and I have no answer for you but if it were me I would try to wean him before surgery. He is almost old enough to drink from a cup so I would try that if he hates bottles. You will not need the energy drain just after surgery. Just MHO.

Hi Congratulations on your upcomming date.  I would go to the weightloss and pregnancy forum.  There are lots of ladies on there that will know the answer to this question.  My baby is 15 years old so I'm out of the loop.  LOL  best of luck to you! Lou ;)
