Feeling a little numb
Hi everybody,
Haven't posted for a few days but I have been here reading. We had to say good-bye to a two year old baby boy yeaterday. I don't remember ever feeling so lost and sad at the accidental loss of such a young life. It is comforting knowing he's in a better place.
On the good side my husband is feeling a little better. He goes to the pulmonologist on the first. Hopefully they can figure out what is going on with his lungs.
I go to Seminar a week from tomorrow. Can't wait. I have been watching my food, cut carbs drastically, if I eat a carbs they are whole grain. Eat low fat protein. Feeling a little better just doing that. I'm planning on coming to the Meeting on Monday, looking forward to meeting you all.
Have to take a nap been a little busy today trying to tidy up where we lay the mail and stuff that we hate to throw away even though we don't need it. LOL.
Hugs;
Barbara

I am sorry that you suffered the loss of someone so young.... I was trying to read through your past posts to see if I missed something but I'm puzzled as I didn't see any mention of someone ill or injured??
Glad to hear that your DH is feeling a bit better and I hope that you get some good information on that front soon......
Hang in there!
Anything WORTH having is WORTH working for !
Thank-you for the caring words. Actually the death was accidental, and happened at his home. He was only two. This was totally unexpected.
My Other Half is feeling better but has some kind of lung problem right now. He's been given 3 different antibiotics so they know pretty much what it isn't. His main problem is there's inflammation in his bronchial system, but they haven't got a clue what's causing it. He sees the lung DR. on Thurs. so we hope they'll be able to figure it out.
Hangin tight, taking one day at a time.
