WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

Another day of needing a bunch of money lol ....had some noise in the trike so took it in to find out what it was...oh yeah they found out all right....but even with fixing all of that we still got a great bargain on it , with what we paid for it. ...so it isn’t bad I guess.

They said it would be a couple of weeks before they could get it all together because one of the parts is a special order....told them as long as it gets all done by the middle of Oct.

Sure hope so cause we have reservations for the big CMA campout in Hatfield Ark.

 

The rest of the day was a washout as far as doing much ...we did get lot of trash out of about 3 flower beds, I guess that sounds like a lot but really wasn’t ...for some reason we both were really tired took a long nap and didn’t wake up till supper time lol  don’t know what was the problem but it felt good anyway but now I am wide awake..so it will probably be around 3 before I get to sleep...

 

In the morning we have to go and get our flu shots.

 

No one has had much to say on here today....HELLO is there any one out there???

 

 

Jo that cable company sounds good but out here where we live we will probably never have cable ...heck we are lucky to have phone service lol

I love the Chi tea too. and it really fills me up , does it you all? I have protein coffee in the mornings and it fills me up too.

 

Oh I forgot to tell you all that I received today the powered calcium from the place online Barriatric Advantage ? I think that is it lol

Anyway that stuff is great. You use two of the tiny scoops twice a day for all you need and if you mix it in like protein shakes or protein coffee or the hot Chi tea you cant taste ir or anything. Great stuff. Sort f exp;ensive but not too bad really...

 

 

 

 One day at a time but I am making thru just fine. I go for pre-op today and surgery is Oct 1. I am not too worried about it and am hoping for outpatient only. I do not want to spend the night there if I can help it. Its just too far from home. Please continue to keep me in your prayers for other issues.

Good morning!  TGIF!  I worked yesterday from 9 am until 9 pm.  It was a crazy busy day.  I wrote a contract for a really nice young couple with two kids.  I prayed all night that they would get the house.  Its just perfect for them and I would feel really good about putting them in it.  I got a really good vibe when I walked in and there was a virgin Mary on the table.  I collect Mary's and I have about 50 of them.  It was like a little sign. ;)  Tonight is my 20 year high school reunion.  I can't believe its been 20 years and I weigh 9 lbs more than I did in high school.  Man what I wouldn't do to get those 18 year old boobies back LOL  maybe Dr. Hawes can help me with that one.  JAN: D. McClain is really great.  My best friend works with him in surgery and will probably help with yours.  I know you'll feel better.   JO: I've been stock piling click since its so cheap.  Its down to 20.33 WOW!  Susie I hope everything is going good for you! 100lbs loss AWESOME!  Have a great day everyone.  I'll post some pics tomorrow of the Class of 1989 Fair Grove High School! ;) Lou

Hi, Mama Jan & MO Peeps:

What beautiful weather we've been having in Kansas!
The sky is blue and the sun is shining.  I think we're suppose to get some rain later tonight and tomorrow morning but then the rest of the weekend is suppose to be really nice.  I hope they're right.  We have a family court of honor at Clinton Lake tomorrow night and I really don't want to have to sit out in the rain!!

I had CK lasik eye surgery done today on my right eye to "tune up" my near-sightedness.  I had custom inter-laced lasik back in 7/2005.  I was legally blind without glasses.  The surgery has been wonderful!  It's only been the past year or so that I've needed to start wearing reading glasses.  I went to see Dr. Durrie Wednesday and he told me that he though getting my right eye in "sync" with things would help my overall vision.  They wanted to know if I could come back Friday 10/2, however, I've already got a subbing job for that day and asked if I could come in this Friday which is today.  They said sure!
I go back in the morning at 7:45am to see Dr. Durrie.  Should be able to drive again after that visit.  Then I go back in 3 weeks then again in 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.  I hope he's right that having the right one fixed will help with my overall vision.  I guess time will tell.

Not much planned for tonight.  Will be taking it easy  tonight with the family tonight.  May have to rent a movie if we can find anything decent to watch that is.

Mama Jan - sorry to hear about the repairs needed on the trike.  Just glad you found out before you started on your way to Arkansas!  What part of Arkansas in Hatfield in?  My Mom's family lives in Mountain Home, it's in Northern Arkansas.  Beautiful country, especially this time of year with all the leaves starting to change.  Hope you and Joe have a GREAT trip!  I really enjoyed talking to you earlier this week.  You are such a blessing to so many of us on the board!  Love you!

Suzy - Congrats on the 100 lbs weight loss and the size FOUR!!  Whooot!  Whooot!  What kind of surgery are you going to have?  Guess I missed it, are you having a tummy tuck done?

Lou - So you graduated in 1989?  I graduated in 1981 and at times I feel so old and yet still young!  Like that makes any sense!  lol!  That chai drink, would you please pm me with that recipe?  I think I over looked it because it had cinnamon in it, however, after hearing everyone rave about it I would like to try it.  I'm guessing I could omit the cinnamon?  Also where do you purchase the chai stuff?  Thanks in advance.

MO Peeps - Come out come out where ever you are!  I may not post as often as I'd like to but I really miss not "seeing" you all on the board!
