Isaiah 43:14~45:10

Today's Underlines

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!

I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

I am the first and I am the last; apart from the me there is no God.

Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know, not one.

I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.  I will strengthen you....

... so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me.  I am the Lord, and there is no other.

In him through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
  What ever would we do without this promise!


Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,... I can think of numerous times I have felt so overwhelmed with a blessing that I know was way more than I deserved and asked for thus affirming the truth of this verse...

I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,...  I think as long as I live I will not truly grasp the vastness of the Savior?

May God arise and his enemies be scattered... I remember a song we use to sing that quoted this verse...

Seemed to be a theme today of God saying that He is the only true God... and that He is vast!
