Good Morning All...

Today's Reading

Isaiah 41:17~43:13
Ephesians 2:1~22
Psalm 67:1~7
Proverbs 23:29~35

Today's Underlines:

I the Lord have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand, I will keep you.... such words of assurance and comfort!

I will lead the blind in ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I  will guide them;  I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.  Goodness how many times I have needed him to make rough places smooth for me!

Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine(love that) When you pass through waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.  For I am the Lord your God,...  more wonderful promises and such assurances for His people!!!

I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior.  I have revealed and saved... how precious this is..

This next portion is a bit long but the whole crux of our live in God!

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions ~ it is by grace you have been saved.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him  in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.  For it is by grace you have been saved through faith ~ and this not from your selves, it is the gift of God ~ not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.  Oh how happy I am for this set of verses and what it means to me personally and to my eternal future!

And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

I don't ever remember reading the verses in Proverbs about the dangers of "wine"... interesting.

Today's word was such a blessing and some wonderful reminders of who we are in Christ, how we can have the power to live, then what we have to look forward too as well....

Blessings to you all this beautiful fall day.
