WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

Sunday until around 3pm was cloudy and misty and looked like it was going to pour any minute but around 3 the sun came out and was so pretty Igot several of my pretty daffodils planted.  One bed is all white and pink , white and orange , white and red etc etc the other bed is yellow with red yellow with pink and yellow with orange. I planted them up in the entrance gardens where the grasses all are. The pampas, zebra, bunny tails fescue all are up there...but these will bloom early in the spring to give us a pretty splash of color because about that time I will be cutting the pampus grass and zebra grass back really short so the new stuff can come up....

Well the sun didn’t last too long lol by 4:30 it was cloudy again...

 

I have an appointment with Dr. McClain , orthopedist, in Springfield tomorrow ....Bec if you can call me about noon tomorrow and give me your mother in laws phone number and how to get to her house I will go out and get my pills out of her fridg. Ok? If I don’t hear from you I will be in Springfield again next Monday for the support meeting. Is tomorrow when you are going to be in Springfield too?

 

Since I cant get the tummy skin taken off im going to go ahead and get my left knee replaced...maybe then I can get some exercise in and lose some more weight around my middle section. i have told my daughter that lives in AZ that when we get out there I want her to work with me and help me get to exercising and get the knee to its full strength...so I can hike and climb....some one said they didn’t understand why some people on medicare got the tummy skin taken off and others didn’t. the reason is that some of us have an insurance policy that pays all the stuff like that plus pays our pills too. then they get their money from Medicare. And this company doesn’t pay for any sort of p. s.

 

Sugar is meeting me in the morning at the doctors office  and then we are going shopping for some things....i especially want to go see if I can find some of the thera shoes ....maybe they will help my back and hip...

 

Bec  I will save you plenty of the double orange lilies....the multiply so fast that I never run out of them it seems. The double ones are so much prettier aren’t they , and totally different color too ....more of a pretty salmon wouldn’t you say?

Susie;;;; oh wow I sure wish I could have been with you in Germany is it as clean and pretty as people say? I know you will feel better knowing that you don’t have to worry about any more attacks..that will be good to know...

I don’t know what kind of personal crisis you are going thru of course my mind starts making up things. So know that I am here for you any time , any time ....just remember that God is always there for you , all you have to do is look up and ask.

 

Colette  I don’t dig up my elephant ears but you all are enough farther north than me that you might have to.  You might dig all of yours up except one and cover it with about a foot of straw after you cut it off.  What I do is  after the first frost I cut them all down to the ground and then I leave them uncovered as long as the weather doesn’t call for freeze again...once a lot  of the water has dried up in them I cover them with about 6 inches of straw....i have got to get some of my bales tomorrow , usually they are about 3.00 a bale.

I use them for fall decorations right now till time to cover stuff...

You know I have been trying to decide whether to do a surgery for looks or surgery for function. I think this was Gods way of saying quit being so vain and get your knee fixed silly woman lol ....they told me what it would cost if I paid for it myself and I told them that if I was going to pay that kind of money for surgery it would be on a face lift. ...lol

Medicare will pay for the skin removal but this is a policy that pays for medication and the other part is covering doctor and hosp....it doesn’t cost us anything but im not sure it is really any good. lol

 

 

Lou lol if it only rained when we wanted it too I wonder when it would rain cause everyone has different days that they want it to rain . I would rather it rain on the week ends and leave my weed days alone to get stuff done lol

Well what did you find to wear to the reunion, take a pic and show us too. good that you have a daughter to help you find something.

 

JO::::really I think most people don’t even try to eat white bread anymore...it gobs up in your stomach and it wont ever change cause that is what it always did before surgery we just didn’t notice it before. Lol .

Wow sounds like you got some really great deals on your shopping trip....

John  good to see you on here....so you are a paramedic? Interesting job...when I was working as a nurse I always wanted to get a job on the air flight...would have been an interesting job for sure.

Talked to Andy for a little while today , he said he had to order a new hard drive for his computer. And he should be back online at least by the end of next week he hoped ....

He said he felt really lost without hearing from everyone. Lol

 

My shoulder is driving me nuts tonight so I just took a pain pill and rubbed it down with some bio freeze hopefully it will ease up tonight. Hopefully the orthopedic will put a shot in it tomorrow...im praying he will ,  love all of you

Jan sounds like you are so busy with your flowers. I have starts I am going to put out this fall, I don't have my beds ready yet but don't want to lose my starts, boy you would have a hay-day over here, no beds or nothing yet....LOL
I guess I missed where medicare wouldn't pay for your tummy, I have Medicare and Admiral Life and what medicare don't get Admiral Life did...coarse if there is anything that Medicare don't cover than it want either...but I know my slab was  alot bigger than yours...lol....so what happened?

I sure would love to see Susan and Andy, I haven't saw Susan since she had surgery, so I know I am in for a shock...

I would love to see all you guys again....ohh and you sweet Bev.
there are so many on here that I haven't saw in a while, and want to so bad, and some I feel like I know and haven't met yet......

 Its back to work and life today. It isn't something I am looking forward to. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. I hope everyones bones are better than mine. The wet weather hates me I think. I weighed and I actually lost a little last week. I ate so much bread over there. They serve it as the main course I think. It is different from the bread here but still can't be good for me. At least I am not eating it now.

Good morning!  How about them Oakland Raiders? Frank and Gage were beside themselves with the win yesterday.  They had a great time at the game.  I'm so glad.  Next year I'm going to get 4 tickets so we can all go.  Jade and I went to my grandmas side of the family reunion yesterday.  No one knew who I was.  It was funny.  Really confusing to the older people.  It was nice to see everyone anyway. I lost another 1.5 lbs so I'm in the 180's.  14 more lbs and I'll be back to my high school weight.  Funny I thought I was fat back then HAHAHA!  What a waste of time.   Today I have a listing appointment and then a busy week of showing houses and getting ready for the class reunion and Jade has homecoming Friday.  Well I'm going to go make my Click frapp....which is now 20.33 on Amazon.com.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day! Jan, you will feel so much better when you get your knee repaired.  I was in so much pain with mine.  My other knee has the same problem but since I've lost the weight it rarely bothers me except at night.  I'm holding off getting it fixed until it really starts hurting.

We are having rain today.  Yesterday was really nice but got a little warm in the afternoon. 

Lou, the Chai mix is wonderful.  I never drink anything hot in the afternoon but yesterday I just had to try it.  I went out on the deck and sipped my Chai and read.  I've had a cup this morning too.  Click......I'm addicted now.  I hope Amazon keeps having it at the good prices.  I do just use 1 scoop per drink so it lasts a little longer although the last few days I used a heaping scoop. 

Jo, I'm so glad you like the Chai.  Pam on the RNY board came up with that and I really think she could sell it.  Its wonderful.  I've been drinking it in the evening also.  So warm and smooth...YUM! ;) Lou
